|Rita Ogron||Clyde Allumbaugh|
Just spent 3 years photographing and creating memorial pages for over a thousand graves at the Moosehaven Cemetery in Orange Park, FLorida (and adding photos to Memorial pages lacking them). Did not come across Clyde Allumbaugh. Markers are, for the most part, in chronological order. One had to be a Moose and live at Moosehaven Retirement Home to be buried in Moosehaven Cem. Are you certain that Clyde is buried there? A few of the older stones are crumbling but markers in the 1970s are in good shape. Could he be in Magnolia Cem which sits in front of Moosehaven; in fact, you have to drive thru Magnolia to get to Moosehaven. Rita

Do you happen to be related? I notice that so many that I am looking at - you have left flowers, etc. Just curious. If so - I find them difficult to figure out and could use some help!

You manage the memorial for Daniel and Manda (McClure) Hamilton. I see there is also another one on find a grave - same folks. Can you help me to understand what's going on with this? Thank you! Pam

Hi Donna, no Guy is not a relative; he's in our tree by distant marriage. Thank you for offering and it's nice you like to see that memorials are taken care of by family members. Sorry we couldn't fulfill that role for Guy. Hopefully someone will come along some day to do that. :o)

Looks like you did add it. Thank you. I did explain to them about Find a Grave rules why it wasn't on there. Then it just depends on the person who created it. Thank you again.

Thank you very much. Yes a connection makes it very nice. I have struggled with a few unmarked burials in my research. If you find out anything other please let me know. I am slowly getting all cemeteries attended in the local area. Gets me out of the house and makes me feel useful.

You're very welcome. I have learned that I need to be careful with updates too. I used to accept them without looking, until I realized that a few of them were totally wrong!

Hello. This weekend I went to the Masonic Cemetery trying to find Edith's tombstone. I walked the cemetery in search of her, but having no luck! I am going to contact the cemetery people to see if they have a listing. However, I did find Andrew H. Garnett and Mary's tombstone which I took a picture of. I can post this if you would like....

Donna: no offense taken at all. I have done as you requested, and when time permits, Iíll try to put together the information for you to add to her bio, if you would. She was my gr-uncleís first wife, but I have not found him on Find A Grave yet and donít know his burial location, so have not been able to add him. (his second wife was an Alumbaugh - maybe related to you?)
Thank you for your contributions to this project!

OK ... are we relatives? I wonder how you came across my fathers grave ... would love to know there's another relative out there !!
Just got back from Brooklyn, and I have a photo of the gravesite. Shall we post it? If yes, how? I'm new to this.
Also, what is a "transfer"? Does that mean you pass it over to my oversight? I would love to have it -- he is my Dad.
Love to hear from you !!

I am not done by a long shot. I was saddened to see a cemetery in such a dire state. I have decided that I want to see if we can do some more tesearch. Perhaps we can even get the military stones replaced as most are broke, missing and illegible. Do you have any info on the cemetery? I have started doing research on each burial and have already located one military veteran whose grave is unmarked
