Adam Gardner
Hello,
We may be very distantly related! I am descended from an Adam Gardner through a daughter named Catherine Gardner who married Henry Dirr. I saw your Adam Gardner buried in Evansport, Defiance County Ohio. This would be the right area for my ancestors family. Would you have any additional information about him?? The timelines also seem to match up.

Thanks,
Walter Lang

Hey! How is your husband related to John Gardner (1803-1872)? He's my 3rd Great Grandfather. :)

I do not know if we are or not. I can not say no for the fact my blood line has many relatives that run through so many others. As far as I know, we are not kin, but who knows...

Yesterday I saw on the news a man who was adopted, who found his biological family living next door to him!! So there is always a possible chance.

Have a blessed day!!

Geneva
Brumfield Cemetery
I am very interested in visiting my Great Grandfather Jeremiah Harmon's grave site. Would you be so kind as to give me directions. I can't get directions from mapquest.com that I would feel comfortable using to locate Brumfield Cemetery.
We live in Kentucky and I would like to bring my mother, Dorothy (Roy Harmon (Hiram Ealey) and Monnie Beatrice Cox Harmon's daughter) to visit his grave.. She is 80 now, she has been there before but it has been 20 or 25 years since her last visit..
Do you have any information on Alice McCallister Harmon?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Bre Dilts
Hello
Hello Gladys! I noticed that you didn't have a picture of Carl to go with his grave, so I will see if I can dig one up for you and send it to you. I know mom has got some pictures of him at home, and my mother in law has a scanner...or if worst comes to worst, I can take a picture of the picture and send it to you...lol
But this site is pretty neat. I have a couple of friends who would probably like this. Issac's father, Gary..his grandmother just passed away before Christmas and they are burying her in Wyoming, so I know he won't be able to go visit very often. But with this site, he'd be able to go see her anytime he liked! Thanks for sending me this link. I really do appreciate it.

Floydster
Westminster CA Cemetery
I have been looking at Westminster for a few years and decided to at least make a try at this seeing as how NOBODY is stepping forward to take pictures! Today I drove over and told them I needed to find a few markers. The office people were kinda taken aback when I presented them with twelve names to find marker locations. They said NOBODY has been there in over two years to take pictures for Find A Grave.

They found two for me and I went out and did a hunt and peck and eventually found them and posted them at Find A Grave. The office MGR said that he would get back to me with the other ten locations. When I get this I will endeavor to take picts and post them as I find the time to go over there.

So hang in there and I will get the photo for you eventually.

Regarding a request at Westminster CA Cemetery

Sorry I don't take photos that park as it is quite a distance for me to drive. Nobody seems to have adopted this place from Find-A-Grave and I have no idea why.

I have been there for funerals and it is a BEAUTIFUL place too but VERY large and hard to find markers if you don't know your way around.
However, all is NOT lost, when people want markers from there I always refer them to Peggy Hooper at the CA Tombstone Project using Roots Web (I help her out in Los Angeles County)

Just click on this link scroll down to the bottom and find Westminster and try the link of the person who does that place. I think they MIGHT help, they have in the past.

This is the best I can do for you at this time.
