RE: Kerby family
Hello Chris,

No, I'm not related to the Kerbys, but they are descendants of Jonathan and Elizabeth Leslie Lodge. I'm helping my cousin with his family tree and he is also a descendant of Jonathan and Elizabeth. I try to help with the family connections whenever I find them.

Thanks for your help.

"Good catch.. I deleted Mary and George Jaegers memorials from old loose creek cemetery."

I'm soooo sorry. I told you because (I think???) your memorials were FIRST. I thought you would ask the other person to delete theirs.

Thank you for sponsoring this memorial. The advertisements are such an annoyance to me. I did not know about the sponsorship program for Find A Grave.

Holy Rosary Cemetery in Warrenton
Hi Chris,

I tried to fulfill your photo request Bernard (50570518) AND Anne (50570647) but couldn't locate them. I did find Corp Leo Frank Rothove (38257001) and noticed he has fake flowers on his grave. The flowers were in good shape so I'm guessing they haven't been there long. I thought I'd mention it b/c maybe you can track down a relative in the area who might know more? Good luck.

RE: Old St. Joseph Westphalia correction
I noticed that on the entry page for the New St. Joseph Cemetery in Westphalia that you have a photo of the Old Cemetery in Westphalia. Maybe best to place that photo to the Old Cemetery entry page!

I enjoy updating Find A Grave and have received much extra info that I did not have in the process. I get back to mid-Missouri quite often and enjoy the research.

RE: Sister Winzen transfer...
No, but I was taught by the School Sisters and have a great deal of love and respect for them. My virtual cemeteries and memorials are just a small way of repaying them for their goodness to me and to so many others over the years. Thank you for creating the memorial for Sister Sabina. It's the Sisters who are buried in ones and twos in non-SSND cemeteries who are the hardest to find. Annie

Just a note to say his obit says he was born in "Stouby, Sogn." Sogn means parish in Danish. Probably the birth pace is Stouby Sogn, Bjerre, Vejle, Denmark. (BTW turns out he is not "my" Peter.]

Martha Wimmer Photo
I fulfilled the photo request for Martha
Wimmer today, in the same plot is a grave marker with the names of Cecil, Charlene and Theresa Wimmer. I saw they weren't listed as buried at the cemetery, so I added them. Then checked MO. death certificates. One was listed as died in St. Louis, one in Jeff City and one in Fulton. Then I checked to see if they were listed in another cemetery and I saw your Memorial pages for them. So I removed mine. Since the grave marker is in Sunrise Memorial Gardens with their parents, I assume they were moved there or it is a marker in memorial. Let me know if you are going to change the cemetery for them and want me to add the photo I took...

RE: Diamond Lake - Lincoln Co.
I have noticed that most of the memorials are either created or maintained by you. Your and Beverly's work is much appreciated!

Thanks to your work I was able to find that my 3X great grandfather and grandmother, Peter Nissen Linnet and Ane Marie Hauberg Linnett, their three daughters, Dagmer Johanne Linnet, Dorthea Christine Linnett, and Thyra Matilda Linnett Hansen, and their son-in-law Mads Hansen are all buried at the Diamond Lake Cemetery. I should have just asked either my grandfather or great grandmother because they both know this but I was not necessarily looking for burial locations at the time.

This is actually how I found Find A Grave. I want to see if anything would come up if I searched my 3X great grandfather's name on the internet and the link to your Find A Grave memorial for him did. Now I have been hooked to Find A Grave ever since.

I have been to the cemetery a number of times since finding out my family in Diamond Lake Cemetery back in December. The kiosk is a great feature that I wish more cemeteries would have so nicely organized directories with extra information.

I have been meaning to contact you about your photo requests in Diamond Lake Cemetery. My sister and I tried to locate both of them back in March with no luck. Is it possible they do not have gravestones? I can try looking again when I go to Tyler for Aebleskiver Days in July.

Thank again,
Kayla Shriver

Thank you Chris. I did use the website after I had emailed someone within the Catholic Church in Ostbevern. I was able to go pretty far back with my research. I did lose the website when my computer crashed so I thank you for renewing that for me, it will continue to be a great help. Are we related?
