Kate
Memorial# 18006187
My name is Kate and I have been putting together a genealogy for my motherís ancestors. I have interspersed various photographs within the text to accent interesting facts about some ancestors. I plan to publish and print hard copy books for my immediate family and their children. I have included the following photo, Elizabeth Acie Swan Memorial# 18006187, that you posted on Find A Grave and I donít want to use it in my book without your explicit permission. I will include your credit with the photograph and Find A Grave in the citations.

Last week a friend of mine who works in the printing industry approached me with an offer to print and bind my book at no charge if I allow the printer to use the content in a sample print run of approximately 100 books. They would not be sold but instead would be distributed to demonstrate digital ink jet technology. I would like to accept this offer, however, I cannot do so without gaining your permission to use your posted photograph.

Would you please grant me permission to use your posted photograph, listed above, in my book.

Thank you for your consideration, please respond at your earliest opportunity.

Regards,

Kate

What is the town location for your cemetery? There are a lot of towns in Sagadahoc County. If it's close enough, I might be able to help you out with your photo requests.

Leila (Edwards) Silvernail 1896-1927 was the d/o Joseph Bragdon 1861 - 1937 & Julia (Brogan)Edwards. She was NOT a sibling of Daniel M. or Philip Edwards.

Philip Edwards - Grove Cem.
Just wanted to correct the info you have on Philip Edwards 1895 - 1918. He was the son of Benjamin & Minnie (Murkett) Edwards and was an only child. He was NOT a sibling of Daniel M. Edwards 1872 - 1928 (my husband's grandfather). Daniel M. was s/o Benjamin 1836 - 1926 & Mary (Sawtell)Edwards. Hope this helps.

William Lyman headstone photo
Could you please add the photo of the headstone for William Lyman (#37311539) to the memorial for his wife, Alma Coe Lyman (#70578484) as the stone also mentions her? Thanks.

Hi! If this is who I believe he is, my grandfather served under him. I believe the (note) should read 342nd F.A. (Field Artillery), instead of F.P. Thanks

Hi Tues,
You added photos to William Losey memorial #9590396 ( Connecticut Valley Hospital Cemetery).but for some reason they aren't showing it's just blank. Would you look into it and see if you can fix them.
Thank you for your time.
Peace,

RE: Robert Ferree
What a great site, thanks for that. I've posted it, but I've modified a little to avoid any possible objection his family might have. While I LOVE these genealogy information items, I want to stay sensitive to the fact that this is a memorial to Robert and some of his family members might find it uncomfortable or insensitive for the full article to be posted ?? What do you think?

Wow, that was interesting. Where did you locate that newspaper, was it online or hard copy? I'd love to read it for history! If you can get the date and newspaper name, I will add to the 'bio' or note as your contribution. It might make an interesting footnote but I would not want to add it unless you're sure it's the right guy though, for the family's sake. The timing looks right though, doesn't it.

Hi..Lots of confusion here in Sidney Maine. It looks to me like you put him in the Lincoln Cemetery in Sidney when he really belongs in the Lincoln Cemetery in Lincoln. I tried to get a picture for you, but he wasn't there because...he wasn't buried there! Please transfer him to correct cemetery..if I am wrong about this let me know. Thanks Kit

Any chance George was a volunteer firefighter for Stony Hill Fire Dept in Bethel CT? I have such a name on my list of deceased members in somewhat chronological order and this is around the same time..1958.
