Thank you for your service to assist others in Find A Grave. I have been looking for the Funk family for a little while now. I am relate to Rosa Heiden (3rd great aunt).

You have that Rosa is the mother of six and then you have links to 4 of the six. Her eldest son, William Joachim Funk is in the same cemetery. The missing child is Alice C. Waite and she is buried in the Clinton Cemetery. (In case you want to link them.) Again, nice work.

RE: Charles E. Miller Turtleville
Going through my messages and which I am not very good at doing and I find one from you on Charles E. Miller and Sarah Gazier. The info I have came from the Miller Family Book. I quote "Charles E. succeeded his father, Cornelius on the old homestead. James Winegar said that both Charles and his wife Sarah later went to Janesville and are buried in the Turtleville Cemetery in Rock County, Wis." James Winegar was a nephew of Charles. That is all the info I have on them.
Sorry about being so long on answering you. I know that there are a lot of the Miller family buried in the area, is parents, siblings. Any other info I find, I will forward to you. Let me know the out come. Thank you, Irv Miller

I am a Civil War buff, and am working on a project to identify the last resting places of many of our "old soldiers" that had ties to Vermont. I have discovered that you have contributed photo's to two of their Find A Grave Memorials, Dana Mittimore and Samuel Cobb. may i use the photo's to post on the Vt.C.W. site? (www.vermontcivilwar.org)

You will receive credit for this.
Tjank you for your consideration.

How sweet of you to ask! No, it is not necessary to transfer these memorials to me. They are distant relatives. I just wanted them to be listed! Thanks again. Barb

Family? Weavers...
Hi Gramma Kathy,
I was wondering if you may be a relative? My grandmother and Elmore Weaver were sister and brother! If not a relation, was wondering if you would be willing to transfer management of his and his wife Belle's pages to me?

I went to the Janesville courthouse, and her death certificate shows that she was buried at Turtleville. Then I went to Hanson funeral home but no one was there. Besides confirming that they handled the arrangements and reconfirming the imformation on the death certificate, I wondered if there was a chance that they may have possibly recorded plot information.

Her death certificate is #33467 and lists the cemetery as Shopiere. Her obit was in the Beloit News 7 Feb. 1949, page 3.

I also have a death certificate for her husband , Wm. which also lists the cemetery as Shopiere.
I will enter him in Find A Grave tomorrow.

I hope this helps.

Thanks for your message. Please check Find A Grave#
138476558 for her obit. Maybe the funeral home would have a record, is there more than one cemetery in Shopiere?

RE: Charles E. Miller Turtleville
I added Sarah Glazier and Charles Miller to the cemetery per info I had from our Family Book. It says that "Charles succeeded his father Cornelius on the old homestead. James Winegar informed us that both Charles and his wife Sarah later went to Janesville and both are buried at Turtleville, Rock County, Wisconsin." I realize that info from family books are not always correct. I will continue to search and check with other family members. I will leave this as is for the time being. Any change on your end, let me know. Thanks Irv Miller #47749375

Rebecca Wright
Datus & Mamie Crotsenberg
Dear Kathy,

I'm not sure if it was you that I was corresponding with before, but earlier this year I had asked for someone to look into their grave sites, but after several attempts with the cemetery and no luck, I never heard back after that.

Yes, they did spell their name BERG rather than BURG and it's on both of their death certificates. I have death certificates for each of them as well as the funeral home info sheet for Datus and the memorial card for Mamie both of which show that they were buried at Shopiere. At this point I just have their memorials listed as "unmarked graves".

My great aunt's full name was Mary Gladys (Wright) Crotsenberg but she went by the nickname Mamie. Datus' full name was Datus Edward Crotsenberg. Thank you so much, if you give me your email address I will be happy to send copies of those documents to you!

Best regards & Merry Christmas!

Dorothy Bruck memorial
Thank you for putting this memorial on-line. Dorothy Bruck was my aunt. I have complete information, along with a bio and picture I can post for her. Would you be willing to transfer the management of her memorial to me? If so, I'd be grateful. If not, I still would like to put more info on my favorite aunt's memorial. Thanks.
