Do you know who her parents were. A distant cousin, Cora Estelle Hancock was married to Dr James Henry Tull and both are buried at the Carton Cemetery. Recently their grand daughter passed away and was buried at Carlton Cemetery. Helen Gea

Linda,
Jane M Journey, second wife of Stephen Franklin Sparks, is not the mother of Amanda Elizabeth Sparks. She and Stephen had no children. Although this lovely lady did help raise his children.

RE: Benjamin Franklin White
Thank you Linda; that is very helpful. I traced her to about 1880, Coryell County. She was head of house, Benjamin was about 20 and single. Apparently twins, John Donaldson and Wiley Frazier, both 19 years old. And Mary Elizabeth White (Painter). By 1900, Hamilton County, Benjamin was married with many children. Also found John White, Hamilton or Bosque County. That census shows his wife, Margaret, and children, William, Winnie, Myrtle, Lizzie, Oscar. Does your family history say anything about Benjamin White's sister or half sister, named Ava Josephine? Genealogy records on FamilySearch, list all Ernest Alexander and Nancy White's children with last name White, except for Josephine; it says Josephine Rogers or Rodgers. That's confusing to me. Josephine is on the 1860, Live Oak County Census with the family; she was 5 years old. Then 1870 Census, Coryell County, Josephine is listed with the family again; however, she was apparently married to Perry Ard, 21 years old. She was listed as Josephine Ard and she was 15 years old. Sadly, she died in April 7, 1871 according to old records from Post Oak Cemetery, Hurst Springs, Coryell County. Can't get a contributor to link them, but her husband, Perry Ard, is buried a little further in Mills County, North Brown Cemetery. He remarried and died in 1901. One more interesting note; some genealogy records show a son born to Alexander and Nancy White on August 17, 1871 (same year that Josephine Ard supposedly died!)and the baby was named Perry Alexander White! Record shows that he died July 13, 1874. He is not on the 1880 Coryell County Census. All very interesting to me. Anyway, thank you so much for information concerning Nancy Caroline. If you find any other info I would be happy to know.

Benjamin Franklin White
My question concerns Benjamin Franklin White #25982568. Are you related to him? The reason I ask is because I was researching Alexander White #19100896, buried at Coffey Cemetery in Coryell County. I found census records on FamilySearch that reveals that he was the son of Alexander (Ernest) White and Nancy Caroline White. I was also wondering if Nancy White's maiden was Chambers or Chambliss? I am attempting to link the family together for FindAGrave. I am not related, just a volunteer. I would like to locate where Nancy White is buried and when she died. 1880 Census, Coryell County shows Nancy C. White 47 1833 GA, Benjamin son 20 1859-60 TX, John D. son 19 1860-61 TX, Wiley F. son 19 1860-61 TX and Mary E. daughter 12 1866-67 TX. This census was taken about 5 years after Alexander White's death. She was only 47, still very young and I wondered if she might have remarried. Benjamin apparently married in 1881 and moved away. I am sending an edit linking Benjamin to his father.

James David Kinsey #29954838
James David KINSEY was a brother of William H Kinsey #26489117. My husband's grand-father, James David OATES (age 24) lived with William H Kinsey in 1900 in Coryell Co, TX. Do you have any information that would tell me what the relationship between J. D Oates and the Kinsey family was? I have no proven knowledge of the whereabouts of James D OATES between 1880 and 1900. I think the KINSEY family may have acted as foster parents as James David OATES was orphaned in 1882, age 6. His father's probate records place him "somewhere" in Texas in 1884. I know this is a long shot but I remain optimistic. James David OATES married (1902) Clara Ann Williams, a neighbor of the KINSEY family. JAMES DAVID was not a usual family name for the KINSEY group, yet James David KINSEY was given that name and he was only 7 years younger than James David OATES. I'm hoping someone from the Kinsey family will see this and check their old photos, records, Bibles, etc to see if they have the missing link that I need. James David OATES' father's name was James V. Oates. Thank you.

James Askew Miller
Do you think James Askew Miller is buried at Campground. Linda and I have searched it multiple times and can find no trace of James Askew Miller or Matilda Tiritha. We have found Robert but have no evidence of other graves. Your thoughts?

Matilda Tiritha Carroll
Lena May Miller, my wife's mother, insisted that her grandmother's name was Tiritha. She actually wanted to name one of my daughters Tiritha after her. She made this point to Linda and I several times because it was so unusual and I think she was sure of it.

Ashland Cemetery.
Dear Linda, I am sending this message to everyone who has memorials set up at Ashland Cemetery. The location of that cemetery is listed as Gilmer, but it is 20 miles from Gilmer. It is in Ashland, but they no longer have a post office. The next closest town is Diana, 75640 which is only about 4 miles away. Will you go in and see if you are able to make that correction? I have also sent this message to F.A.G.
Thanks, Mary

My log in name is Sharee Lea WW. I'm emailing you to ask if you would be willing to let me take over Addie R Diltz Sharp's memorial. Addie was my great grandmother on my mother's side of the family. Another Diltz great granddaughter & I are trying to update all of the Diltz memorials, & it would be easier if I could just edit Grandmother's myself.
Thanks for your consideration.

Jonathan and Sarah Diltz
Linda,
I am the Jonathan and Sarah are my great great grandparents. My great grandfather was their son, Charles Benjamin Diltz. I created records for Jonathan and Sarah on Find a Grave so we could link them to their children. His is 175658151 and hers is 175658179 so you can add them here. I know all the information doesn't jive with yours. Other cousins and I are still researching them and, in particular, dates of death. I'd appreciate seeing any information you have on that. Thanks!

RE: Anne Fuqua corrections
Anne is a relative, yes. In fact, Spouse is related to all the Fuquas in the Gentrys Mill Cemetery. We found that cemetery in 2001 when Spouse saw the sign and recognized the name from his childhood.

Normally, I would use the Edit-tab, but I felt like I needed to explain the change. I also wondered if you knew if it was a known mistake on grave marker.

Sorry about the typo in the date. The photos of the grave marker are small and/or out of focus.

Reverend Dietrich E. Schwecke
My grandfather was Reverend Dietrich Ehler Schwecke. He is buried at the St. Paul cemetery. Is it possible to get a photo of his headstone? Also, there is a Pauline Schwecke buried in the cemetery. She would have been the infant daughter of Dietrich. I am also seeking a photo of her headstone. Can you help me with obtaining these photos?? Thank you.
