Clarence Kemerly was not son of Alvin.

He was son of Charles & Emma (Marion) Kemerly.

His wife was Hazel (Cook)Kemerly. He married her in Clark Co IN. You can find their marriage cert on Ancestry. Gives parents names. I had all this family connected but lost some info when my computer failed one day and haven't gotten them all put back in as of yet.

HERSCHELL KEMERLY
You don't have his name spelled correctly on his memorial. I don't know if you are kin or not but his wife is on here Phyllis Van Hoose Kemerly. We knew them when I was a kid and my dad knew them bef me when he was young. He worked with Phyllis at the factory aft they grew up and Hersh as we called him was well know around Fortville. He was a really nice guy everyone liked him, both adults & kids. He was big in the baseball community with adults & kids teams. Sadly he killed himself in the bldg. he owned down from what was Kemerly Chevrolet. He had a little used car place there. It is now a NAPA Store I bel or it was.

Anyway please correct the spelling of his name and link him to his wife.

Thank you!

Eliza J Hunt
Eliza J Hunt (ID# 20308493) is my ancestor and I was wondering if you would be willing to transfer management to me. Her daughter Almeda married into the Taylor family who are my great grandmothers family. I also have a few corrections to make! If you could do so I'd appreciate it.

RE: Leroy Drake
Would you by chance know why some of the Drakes left Ohio and went to Indiana and then back to Ohio? Thatís what my husbandís great grandfather LeRoy and his wife Mary Purvis Drake did. None of us know why; itís a mystery to us. Weíre trying to figure it out but we donít know how to. I hope you can tell us the answer.

Absolutely positive that C Aven Morrison is Gavin Morrison. He is mentioned in the Eden section of the Hancock County history as a moderator in then Baptist Church and a member of the masonic Lodge.

He was born in 1820 and I lost him after the Masonic Lodge mention in 1874.

Information I have:
Gaven Morrison
B: Cal 18 Feb 1820, Vernon Twp, Clinton, Ohio

Parents were: Gaven Morrison and Catherine Forshay

Wives:

Hester Osburn mar 19 Ocy 1844 Warren Co, OH

Hello,

I hope all is well with you and your family. I was wondering if you knew why Leroy (1851-1920) and Mary (1854-1923) Drake went to Indiana for a period of years.

Thanks,

Pam

Hello, can you tell me what church Eden Cemetery is at? Looking to locate the grave of Thomas Huey, which you were so kind to create a memorial for. Thank you in advance.

Cathy,

Thank you so very much for getting back with me, I really appreciate it! Yes, I'd like to always stay in touch with you. How can I send you my email address privately? Are you on Facebook; I am? I am listed as: Pam Gagliano Drake. I have a split picture of me as my profile picture; half is when I was a teenager and the other half is more current.

Osmer Curtis Drake 1819-1910
C. Butcher,

I want to thank you so very much for sharing the picture of Osmer Curtis Drake with everyone.

Osmer is my husband's 2nd great grandfather. Osmer's son Leroy Pratt Drake is my husband's great grandfather and Leroy's son Charles Alvin Drake is my husband's grandfather.

I sent the picture of Osmer to my husband's cousin and asked her to share it with my husband's aunt who is 92 years old. Aunt Helen was so tickled to be able to see a picture of her great grandfather. Thank you so much for making that possible.

I was wondering if you might have other pictures of Osmer, his wife, or anyone else in the family you might want to share. It would be greatly appreciated.

Are you on ancestry.com? I am. Take care and I hope to hear from you.

Cathy:

I made the links for her parents, but Find A Grave does not allow you to add siblings, they are linked only through the parents and Pearl is already linked through them. Did you want this memorial transferred to you? Let me know.

Wainscott Family
I was so thrilled to see your enty for John Thomas and Sarah Alma Wainscott. I am Shirley (Price) Newman and my grandfather was Roy Wainscott, son of Zoras Wainscott, son of John and Sarah. I will be visiting the cemetery in Sheridan before Memorial Day and could get photos of the tombstone if you would like. Are you working on geneology or just interested in the cemeteries? I would love to correspond with you about this family connection.
