Gibson family
I am not related to any Gibsons. I just put memorials on FindaGrave for people to find their deceased loved ones.

James Ham Gibson
Member # 1980329. Could you add a link to his second wife, Mary Ann Lemon Sanders Gibson who died in Millersburg Twp. Mercer County, IL, please? Her member # is 39722167. She is buried in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Duncan Twp, Mercer County, IL. Thank you very much. This links Mary to her 2nd husband. I am trying to locate some of her children so that they can be linked to her because she is linked to her parents, her grandparents, her great-grandparents and I think even the great-great grandparents.

Thank you very much.

Marcia Gibson
Thanks for the info, I put in the dates and linked her to Al and Margaret. I graduated with Keith, knew Al and Margaret. I remember Al driving a shiny black Buick when they first came to Ewing. Also knew Norma. I remember Keith having an older brother, but never did meet him. If you'd like for me to transfer Marcia to you I sure can.

RE: Hansens in Oakdale Cem.
You are welcome. Tell the person who was looking for the photos she was lucky that I had already done that part of the cemetery for photos. We have more then 24 inches of snow here so there would have been no way of getting photos until spring.

St Anthonys Cemetery
Could you provide me with directions to St Anthonys? Also, I just added Francis Latzel, and linked him to Geoge and Mollie, and noticed that Geo and Mollie are not linked together.

Grave of Omer Gibson.
I found your memorial to Omer Gibson, who died at the age of 16 during the ferocious blizzard that struck the Great Plains in Jan.1988.The morning of Jan 12th, Omer and his 12 year old niece, Amelia Shirk rode their horse to school. When the storm hit, school was dismissed and their teacher,John Schneider, told them to set out for home on their own.The horse soon went a stray and the children set it loose after removing the horse blanket. They huddled together in a snowbank all through the nght as the blizzard raged around them. At sunrise, Omer felt strong enough to go for help, he set out, took a few steps and dropped dead, due to cardiac arrest due to shock..His story and countless others who lost their lives can be found in "the Childrens Blizzard" by David Laskin. Harper Collins, Publisher.I thought you might like to add his story to his obit..have a great day, Marcy.
