Thomas Cooke at New Calvary
I fulfilled your photo request for Thomas, unfortunately there was not a stone for Thomas but there is one for Adaline. Would you like to create the memorial for her? The stone says Adaline D. Cooke Died Feb 3, 1923. I would be happy to add the photo of her stone. The bottom of her stone does say Husband, but I couldn't see any further engraving. Thank you.

Re; Margaret Hester

I was delighted to leave a token for your Mother's friend, Margaret. I have always thought that Claregalway Cemetery was very appealing. I visited last Saturday and it was just beginning to snow, so my photographs of some of the graves there are quite dark. Hope to visit it again soon.

The Irish in California, USA
During the Gold Rush of California there were a lot of Irish folk who came to the state with the wish of striking it rich. I with my sister that have Irish roots are putting in the Old Auburn cemetery and other cemeteries in the area so that people can trace their families. In my virtual cemeteries I have on that says Irish in Old Auburn. Of course I don't have them all there, just the ones I could identify. Their headstones stated born in Ireland or it was obvious they had a Irish surname.

I found the work you did on your family just amazing. Done very nicely. We have as of yesterday listed 3,333 in the Old Auburn cemetery. It's located east of Sacramento, Ca. in the foothills. That is were I live with my family. I almost always post something to this cemetery daily, either more memorials or the research work that is being done by my sister or something I find locally.

Bless you and it was a pleasure to visit your family. I visited more today useing your link.

Hello From Mayo
Decided to browse through Cemeteries in Ireland and found you here.

A lot of Cemeteries have been set up for Ireland with maybe only one entry, I have done a few locally but will have to be carefull that I don't dupe any of them. I have noticed already that some Irish cemeteries are in twice.

My mother came from Dublin, so we have a few of Family buried there, I have not yet got around to the memorials.

Nice to see Irish people using the site.

Was close enough for me to get the photo before I read your reply. Not a problem at all, was my pleasure. Thanks for worrying about my knickers. Tho it has been quite a few years since I've had a pair of those been forced upon me. hehehe.
Happy New Year.
