oops, the stone clearly says he was born July 15, 1760, not June 15th. Must have been a late night of data entry. Happens to all of us. :)

RE: Storm in Hopewell
Hello, I will be happy to share the sources. I will send a list of them to your email and they will be for the entire family. There are too many to list here. Isaac Storm and his daughter, Rachel, are my direct ancestors. I, along with others on the LDS Family Tree, have been actively researching the family. I will be sending edits for the rest of the family today - ran out of time yesterday. The information is as accurate as I can possibly make it, but as with anything it is not written in stone. Sometimes a new source will appear that will lead to a change in some data.

Thanks, Robert

Thank You!
As a volunteer at Find A Grave myself, I wanted to thank you for finding both of my great grandparents. Would you mind transferring Albert Harris (166674235) over to me? His death date is wrong but I'll correct that once transferred. Thanks again for taking the time to photograph this for me.

Could I please use your photo of their tombstone?
I will never be able to get to NY and it is a great find for me.

Thank You for Transfer
Thank you for transferring the memorial record for John Vance Criswell to me. I have corrected the information in his record and added a picture of the gravestone. I have also added a memorial for his father John Criswell and his wife Mary Ann Brannen Criswell. You will find links on his memorial. I will also add links to his other children as I am able to do so. Again, thank you very much for your assistance and cooperation. And, thank you for all the work you contribute to to assist others in their research.

RE: Elizabeth Hasbrouck
Please read this Hasbruock Family Journal and it will explain the location and history of the original cemetery and headstone for Elias. I am on a mission to go and find this Hasbrouck family cemetery. I found a photo of the new military headstone erected in the original cemetery as well as a photo of a New York State Historical marked denoting this site. I hope to visit it this week.

I would think that the inscription on the stone in the Woodstock cemetery would be confirmation enough. The headstone is located less then 15 miles from Lake Hill, NY. Not 55 miles in Lake Hill cemetery which is in Mapledale, NY. (now Arkville) The stone clearly says he is buried in lake Hill, NY.

Here is the link to the Find-A-Grave entry for the Hasbrouck Family Ground in Lake Hill, New York. Memorials include that of Elias and Elizabeth Hasbrouck and photo's with explanation on location of headstone. Hope this is helpful.

I have found an original listing for the correct cemetery in Lake Hill, NY. Will post that tonight. Then the records can be corrected.

RE: Elizabeth Hasbrouck
I was in Woodstock today and found that headstone. It says that Elizabeth and her husband were buried in Lake Hill, New York. I went there to find the cemetery in Lake Hill. I am told there is no cemetery in Lake Hill. However it could have been a small family plot on private land. Just down the road from Lake Hill is another hamlet called Willow. In that cemetery there are several Hasbrouck's buried. Possibly this could be the correct place. I am going to research this more and see if I can find the exact place.

Elizabeth is not buried in the Lake Hill cemetery in Mapledale. Our Lake Hill cemetery is very small and we have documents on all burials and she does not show up in any. Someone else listed her husband Elias as being here as well. His and her stone both show up in the Woodstock Cemetery in Woodstock, NY.

RE: George Overhiser #147919641
You're absolutely right about the dates for George and Matilda, bur I'm pretty sure, after looking at census records, that Miranda's birth date is correct. Also, if born in 1846, her parents would have been 13 years old.

Thanks for catching the problem

RE: William Eugene Santer have a good eye for detail. Sorry, I don't know if William is buried with his 1st or 2nd wife. I think the place where he is not buried would be considered a cenotaph. I'm thinking a call to both cemeteries might answer the question. Unfortunately, I've gotten poor responses at Crown Hill in the past. I think their staff is overstretched. Thanks....Richard

RE: Timothy John Patrick Cooper
Sorry, I should have made myself clearer. The memorials I put in Quaker Hill Cemetery were just placeholders to make it easier to keep track of the ones that needed to be moved. There were quite a few, due to the accidental merging of two cemeteries that are not the same. Not sure how or why it was done in the first place. If you want to remake your memorial (or if you are a relative and would like me to transfer ownership), feel free, just let me know.
