Apparently, Find-a-Grave pulled the "voting for famous people" for Thutmose II. They probably thought that he was not one of the "famous" pharoahs from Egypt. Oh well, thanks for trying anyway.

Thutmose II
I need to have some people visit Thutmose II's memorial in the "Valley of the Kings cemetery" and vote on How famous was this person? Thank You.

No problem, if I have the information I like to share. My aunt is his sister, she is still alive I need to talk with her, I have a few questions on couple of the other siblings. Have a blessed day.

RE: Maria Hoermann (129474527) and Fritz Hoermann (129474488)
I'm sorry but I don't have any other information on them. I only took the picture and added the memorial since there wasn't one.

RE: Sr Mary Ann Martinka, Memorial# 20561700
Hi Mary Ann
Sister Mary Ann was my mother's cousin. We are proud to have had seven nuns on her side of the family. I would love it if you would transfer her memorial to me. I haven't been doing this very long and am still learning.

My husbands grandmother was Bertha Irene Wright. Her parents were Thomas Evans Wright and Ida Rebecca Lynch. Wonder is there any relation? I have recently joined to research his family.

Thank you!

But I go by Mandy😉

RE: Florence G. King - # 66181939
Sorry, normally I do a search to see if the person is already listed. If you would like me to transfer to you I will, not related to me. If this happens again, which I hope it doesn't, I do not have a problem with deleting the record. Thank you
Debbie Gandy

Find a Grave's Naming Convention
I forward VALID declined edit requests to Admin.

Here are Find a Grave's naming convention.

Memorial Naming Conventions: Non-famous Memorials
- If a hyphen or an apostrophe is part of the name, use the punctuation.
- Use a period after names where only an initial is known. If the full name is known, use the full name and not the initial.
- Do not use any other punctuation within any Name Field.
- Do not use Full capitalization (ALL-CAPS) of names in any Name Field.
- Suffixes and Prefixes do not belong in any Name Field.

First name of the deceased. Put the entire first name (if known), even if the grave marker is only an initial. Do not include titles or other prefixes in the First Name field.

Middle name of deceased. Put the entire middle name (if known), even if the grave marker is only an initial.

A familiar name of the deceased, if known; the nickname is automatically placed in quotes. A nickname is different from the real name (first or middle).

Maiden name of a married individual, if known (otherwise leave blank); the maiden name is automatically italicized and is only used if the individual was married and took the spouse's last name as their new last name. If the deceased was never married, then the last name is placed in the "Last Name" field, NOT in the "Maiden Name" field.

Last Name as you would find it on the tombstone, if the interred had more than one marriage or other possible spellings please place this information in the bio and use the family links. Do not include honorary or other suffixes in the Last Name field.

Balloon token
Hi Mary Ann,

could you please remove that large flashing balloon token which was just added to the memorial for Anna Heldina Karlsson at

I find it very distracting.

Thank you, BobP

RE: Toy Moore, #19455344
Hi Mary,

I did not know Toy but I did know her brother Billy Wynne and his family. Thank you for the offer. I do not know anything I could add to make the memorial more meaningful.

Happy New Year,

RE: Ref: Billy, Elmer and Clura Arnold
What do you know! We both have the same first and second names. I believe Clura is the correct spelling even though I have found it also as Clara. Her stone says Clura. It is not necessary to transfer them to me unless you wish as I will use the edit if I discover anything else. I appreciate your help as I also help anyone who wishes info or pictures. I am the manager of our little local cemetery and hope to retire after 18 years. I know how hard it is to get away and do any research. Will still help people after I retire.

Mary Ann
