You're very welcome. I would have gotten it sooner, but the owner of the property is very strict on who they allow on their farm.

Problem in San Luis Obispo
I am a Find A Grave volunteer like you are. I am doing this to save you time and disappointment.
Sadly, there is absolutely NO cooperation from the San Luis Cemetery with Find A Grave volunteers. I was threatened with the police by the owner of the SL Cemetery, just talking to him over the phone. No volunteers have claimed a request in over 18 months. However, there has been great success with the San Luis Obispo County Genealogical Society. You can request a photo of the grave stone(s) for whom you are looking by doing the following; and they will respond promptly:

Address your email to
Put in the subject line
San Luis Cemetery Headstone photo

Give them the name and birth and death dates, or as much as you know. Ask them to send a picture of the headstone, and tell them how you are related or what your interest is in this person. They will appreciate that. This information may only be used in genealogical research. They will respond to you within a day or two.
I have checked the data base for you and found that those you are seeking DO have headstones.
They will send you the photo as an attachment to email. They took photos of the thousands of headstones they indexed in 2009 and 2010. They photographed virtually all headstones that could be deciphered. Everyone, who was buried there before 2009-2010, and who has a headstone, has a picture of their headstone in the database of the Genealogical Society. The society will respond to individuals, but prefers not to send pictures in bulk to Find A Grave volunteers. They also have not made an agreement to download their data to the Find A Grave servers.
I will ask that the request be removed, now that you have a very reliable and quick way to achieve your goal. If there is any problem, please let me know.
As a reference here is the website for the index. I have checked the index myself and found that a headstone exists for this person.
Best wishes.

Mary Myers Perkins
I have written before. It looks like Mary Myers was Laura Perkins Mother not Rachel. Where did you get the date for Mary's death. I need this to prove Laura is Mary's daughter. Pat

Rebecca Grace Yorba
Hello Mark,
My name is John Salas.Rebecca Grace Yorba was my Ist cousin once removed. I am puzzled by the name on her grave as Rubidoux. I know she married Lawrence Pina and had children by him. Frank N Rubidoux 1898-1985 was married to Carmelita Rubidoux 1901-1983. Also Joe Sterling was married to my grandmother's sister Guadalupe Gastelo.I know Annie Rodriquez was trying to find some info about Chona Moraga.I would appreciate any information regarding Rebecca Grace. Hope to hear from you.

Eugenio Fata - Ocean View Cemetery
Hi there,

Just thought I'd leave you a note - I was out at Ocean View Cemetery last week taking photos (before your request went in). I saw that you wanted to find out the correct death date, that it may be incorrect at findagrave. The cemetery caretaker is a great guy to talk with and seems to really enjoy the genealogy questions. If you just want the information you could phone him - Tom Morse, 360-461-2042. He seems to work out there alone most of the time so I think he really likes the calls.
Colleen (not the person who accepted your request to photograph the plot).

Ebenizer Herbert Perry
Went into the office and they looked up the records. Ebenizer is there but there was no info on his card just the burial permit. But there was another card with unknown Perry, they believe it must be him. The plot is, Block 12 Lot 1 Grave 10. There was no marker on the grave. I placed flower and took the photo.
The grave to the left is Charles A Hall, to the right is James A Jones. Hope this helps.

Daniel McBride Sr
RE: Hurley & Brickley
I found a grave site for Margaret Hurley at Calvary Cemetery. Her B.D. is 5/29/1866 and Died 1/11/1950. The site was located in the same area as Sarah Brickley and Timothy Hurley.

However the cemetery records listed her as being in another site. In that area was Henry Hurley, Jeremiah Hurley, another Timothy Hurley and John Hurley. But there was no marker for Margaret Hurley at that location. But I have a photo of Margaret Hurley's grave site at the other location.

Please advise if you want that photo.

Thank you, Daniel

John Arthur Perry

I could not find his marker the first time I went to cemetery I went back with flowers in hand thinking he had no marker. He, his wife and son are on the back of the Ritchey family marker. I'm thinking his wife was a Ritchey. I have posted all the Ritchey's and the Perry's markers.
