|Catherine Carter||RE: Smoaks - Bamberg, SC|
If you want to send me your grandmother's information, I can do some checking on my end. Maiden name, etc.
My email is email@example.com if you'd rather do it that way.
I think I've run across a Marnie in my search.

|Catherine Carter||Smoaks - Bamberg, SC|
I am researching the Smoak/Morris line from Bamberg, SC. Trying to locate the parents of Eliza Smoak Morris and Richard Charles Morris.
Richard's parents, I believe are John R. Morris & Elizabeth Chreech Morris. Trying to confirm as the Census Records have weird spellings.
Eliza's parents I believe are John W Smoak & A. Jackson (death certificates of Eliza show her mother as Eliza Jackson, and a death certificate of one of her brothers show it at Agness Jackson).
Any light you can shed would be great....

|Pamela Thompson||Gravestone Photo Permission|
I am happy to see that you photographed the gravestone of Edwin Lee Alford in Quantico National Cemetery (Memorial# 21391987).
I would like to add this gravestone photo to the (non-profit) Alford American Family Association's collection of Virginia Obituaries, where his obituary is included. You can see the current collection at http://www.alfordassociation.org/OBITS/VAOBIT.htm.
May I have your permission to include your gravestone photos? If so, I will add this to the photo caption:
Photo from [cemetery name, city, county, state]—www.findagrave.com
Permission granted by the photographer, Marion Royal
And thanks so much for your gravestone photo work!

Which cemetery is correct? One of them needs to be deleted. We are dealing with 2 counties which is very confusing in itself. The problem needs to be corrected. Find A Grave guidelines doesn't approve of duplicates. Thanks again,Harleyprice

I found the short notice while doing a search on the Royal side of my family and when I saw you have added her husband's memorial and grave marker and thought you may like to add her and connect her to her husband.
Have a wonderful afternoon, Juanda

Thank you so much Marion for taking the time to take a photo of Mr. Gray's stone. It's volunteers, like yourself, that make it so nice for folks, like myself, who are unable to get to the different cemeteries to take the photos.

Thank you for the wonderful pictures you took fomy Uncle Charles Gison. I was wondering if you could take one of the distance photos off of there so that I could put a picture of him on his memorial.

Great photos. Thanks for all you did here.
If you like to and have the energy, you can help me.
I am working a project for the Marine Corps. I am trying to locate any Marine from any era. I am always looking for them. You can just send me a list of names from those you find and take the photos of course. I would appreciate anything you can do to help. That way no one can beat you to Quantico Cemetery...

Thank you for taking those photos of my uncle's grave. I had never seen it and the photos are striking against the snow with the flags and other solider stones.

I tried to do the verification two times. Both times it gave a msn error and made msn close. I will try it on a different browser. But think you so much for taking the time to try to get these pictures. Dwight is my grandfather and Charles is my uncle and Dwight's son.

Thanks so much for the great photos. I appreciate all you did to straighten out this mess.
I took the liberty of adding Eleanor's profile but did give your name credit for the photo. I hope that's OK. If not let me know and I will delete my posting and you may add it.
Thanks ever so much, Pam
