|John Harper||Maria L Knapp #34176473|
Dear Koach; In viewing the cemetery today, it appeared that the above Maria Knapp is the same as Maria Knapp Anthony #34005942 for which I uploaded a picture. I will leave it in your hands to decide but I hope that's helpful.

|SongsofLife||Find A Grave Memorial# 104799970|
Hello. I am researching my best friend's family. She may have been the niece of John Patrick Hanley, memorial #104799970.
We are wondering about John Patrick Hanley, an infant who died around the age of 4 months, and who might have been the son of Gertrude. His Find a grave memorial shows a plot and marker #, but it doesn't appear to be next to the assumed parents', Gertrude and Martin's, graves, as I might have expected; I'm not sure. Might you have any knowledge about that?
Many thanks in advance for your help.

I had left a message that she is buried with Victoria but it has been 3 yrs. and she is still listed on the request. Since there is no stone for her, perhaps she should be taken off?

One correction from my previous letter.
Stone of Peter LaDue who died 1811? should have read "wife of Peter LaDue".

|Joyce (Martin) OConnell||LaDue in Fishkill Rural Cemetery|
I could not locate Jemima LaDue nor Sherman LaDue in the location (D-482-483) given to me by the cemetery office. I did find in that location a Peter LaDue died 1811 (I think; had to read)age 55 yrs.; and another stone for another Peter LaDue d. June 13, 1851 age 57 yr.
I just now tried to locate your Jemima and Sherman in the Fishkill listing of internments on FindaGrave but could not find them.
Totally confused, and no picture to give you.

Yes, I am working on this. In trying to get the original member to either delete, transfer or transfer to me, I am getting no response. I will soon address this to F.A.G as the person has their E-mail turned off. I realized these photos transferred over and am deleting and replacing them. Thanks.

|Dagmar||Rosetta Culp DeLong|
I was wondering how you found out about Rosetta? She is a grandmother of mine. Culp is her maiden name. DeLong is the name of her 2nd husband, Nathan Delong. They divorced a few months before his death. She outlived husband #1 & #3. She only had issue with husband #1. Nathan divorced several (3?) wives before he married my grandmother. Rosetta's death certificate uses her 3rd husband's name which is the only public record I know of that ties her to this cemetery. In talking with the Sexton a few years ago, there is no official cemetery record of her here. Nathan is buried among other Civil War soldiers and the unofficial records I can find do not show an unclaimed grave next to him (Spending quality time with the Sexton is on my to do list & also the funeral home that was used).
Rosetta's daughter, another grandmother of mine, lived down the street from this cemetery about the time Rosetta died and they had some money, so it makes sense that she would be shipped up and buried here. Family from her daughter's 2nd husband is also buried in this cemetery, though Rosetta's daughter and that 2nd husband are buried in Caldwell Twp where they lived previously and one of his previous wives is buried. I hope to someday learn exactly where in the cemetery Rosetta is buried.
Please let me know how you ended up labeling Rosetta as "Rosetta Culp DeLong" and not another name. I am very curious. Thank you.

|Susan ||Elmwood Cemetery Photo Request|
If you call Elmwood Cemetery and Mausoleum at 708- 453-0273 and:
1. Ask if your photo request person has a headstone / grave marker.
2. If there is a headstone / grave marker ask for the section, block, lot and grave number.
3. If you send that information to me, Susan (#48964989) I will go there and fulfill your photo request. Of course any other Find A Grave volunteer can also fulfill your request if you then add the headstone location information to your photo request page.

I'm sorry it's been so long. Uncle Jim is still alive living in Utah, and Uncle John was buried at his 2nd wife's family farm, which they no longer own. Hope you're doing well.

The Milwaukee Journal, May 18, 1933, writes of the tragic death of Mr. Dickmann in an accident during the lengthy statewide milk strike (Google "1933 Wisconsin Milk Strike"). While the right hand side of the Journal's report is blurred, you can find enough details of Mr. Dickmann's death if you wish to add them to your entry. Thank you.

|Ralph Heady||Maria Knapp|
I found a Maria Knapp in Fishkill Rural Cemetery. I am not sure if this is the one you requested a photo for. The headstone says she was married to Joseph Vernol. I created a memorial, (Find A Grave Memorial# 155080210), and uploaded the picture. Please take a look at it and see if this is the Maria Knapp you requested.

|whitepaper||Marie & Judson Kennedy|
In reference to your photo request for Judson and Marie Kennedyís monuments in Colonel Lindley Cemetery; by chance I found Judson Kennedyís (1908-1976) tombstone in Fairview Cemetery in Lindley. If you move the memorial from Colonel Lindsley Cemetery to Fairview Cemetery I will post the picture. I did not see Marie Kennedy, although I didnít look too hard. The stone next to Judsonís stone is Evelyn Kennedy (1906-1960). I doubt if Marie is buried in the Colonel Lindsley Cemetery. It doesnít look like there has been a burial in that cemetery since the first part of the 20th century.

|Marie Bonafonte||Robert W. Facer - Sleepy Hollow Cemetery|
Couldn't find Helen's husband with her. Recommend that you contact the cemetery to determine which section he is buried since this is an extemely very large cemetery. Also does he have a marker/headstone? If not, please remove the photo request. If yes, then let me know what section and I will go over to do photo. Marie

I was wondering if you are related to George Hoffman #40620981? Since his bio has more info added to it than just the barest minimum, I thought you might be a relative. If so, hello cousin! George's brother Nicholas Hoffman #23331410 is my great-great-great grandfather.

I will be at this cemetery on Monday and am willing to take photos for you. Is it possible for you to call the cemetery office to get the grave locations? Phone 773-276-4537
Many of the headstones in this cemetery are written in Ukrainian Cyrillic script so I can only locate them if I have the grave location or at least the section.

|Cemetery Scavenger :)||RE: Photo requests :)|
Hello again again,
I also ventured out to the Sutton cemetery and fulfilled your photo requests for Hubbard, Alice and Mamie Knapp. The graves at that cemetery were nicely maintained, but Alice's was COVERED in dirt/grass, so that picture isn't as "nice" as I typically try to upload..
I also found graves for Agnes and Clay Knapp, Gary Earl, Duane and Vernon and uploaded photos for them too (after creating pages). I transferred management of them to you, since I have no connection/special interest, but if you have any problem with that, just transfer them back, no worries!
Have a good day,

|Cemetery Scavenger :)||Wait!!|
The end of my message about "Bessie Richardson" was for a different individual. Rewind- I found 9 of your 10 requests, and went through the whole cemetery, but Bessie's grave was nowhere to be found. (just ignore the rest that I wrote on my first message- That was supposed to go to the person who requested "Roger Wait"s grave).
Sorry again for the mix up!
