|D. Goodboe||Lucy Perry obit|
KT, I received one five days ago from a third party, but nothing under your screen name. It was originally published in the Fredericksburg Free Lance, stated that Lucy had died in Washington D.C., that she had a Baptist service in Fredericksburg, VA, and that she was never listed in the Fredericksburg Interment Register, which I believe is one of the old records indexed by a man named Robert Hodge (?) and is now the most complete record (or so I was told). It ran on 17 JAN 1894, so I assume Lucy actually died a day or two earlier. Is that what you have?
Two of Lucy's daughters lived in D.C. She is reported to have died of consumption so possibly was living with them for her health. According to the obit she only lived there the last year of her life.
