Mr. Bromley, you have an open photo request for Claud Minton Whitley at Westhampton Memorial Park. There is already a photo posted to Mr. Whitley's memorial, so I suppose you need to cancel your request?

Headstone Genealogist
Mount Royal Cemetery Photo Request
Mount Royal Cemetery has 165 acres. The burial plot location must be supplied so a volunteer can go take the photo.

You can get this free information by filling the form here: www.mountroyalcem.com/index.php/en/our-services/genealogy-menu.html and in the "Desired Service" field, select "Burial Location (free)" and enter the information.

If the Genealogy page was not helpful then email your request to genealogy@mountroyalcem.com

The cemetery will email you the location (3-10 working days).

Have the memorial updated with the plot number.

You will have made it possible for the photo to be taken.

Photo request
Hi Mr Bromley:

I received a request to take a photo of Claud Minton Whitley's monument at Westhampton Memorial Park in Henrico County, VA. I looked at his Find a Grave memorial and there is already a photo there.
Is there something else you wish me to photograph?
Thanks,
A P McDaniel

Burial Location
Do you have any info as the location of the grave where Ann Mason is buried? The info in her memorial is questionable. Thanks! Larry

I visited Emory and Henry Cemetery and found Sarah Keys headstone and it is Katherine Perry Keys 1888-1972, but before adding photo looked at the memorial you added and a picture of her headstone had been added there in 2013.

John and Mary Bromley
I searched Mount Pleasant Cemetery for John and Mary Bromley but in the location cited there was not a headstone. The plot was well-marked and in the cited location there was no stone. Perhaps they are buried there but a stone was never place. If you wish I can go back there and take a photo of the space.

Beverly Cranston
Request for a grave headstone
Haworth P. Bromley,

I am writing to let you know that I have made a visit to the Chamberlain Cemetery, but was unsuccessful in finding a headstone for Spotswood Augustine Washington! But I did make a stop at the Iroquois County Genealogical Society, 103 W. Cherry St., Watseka, IL. and was able to get some more information: I was able to get several copies of some obituaries of his family and also copies of some newspaper articles! If you would like me to send them to you threw an email I would be more than willing to do that!
I am sorry that I have gone over the 14 day timeline but I ran into some certain circumstances that detained me from getting to the cemetery until today(11-16-2015).

You have requested a grave photo for the above. However, his memorial states that he is buried in an unmarked plot at Mount Vernon.....what exactly do you want photographed?

Am researching Marion Dix as one of several women who worked in film in WWII. One of your messages indicated you have letters to your father from her. Would you share them?

Marion Dix
I think they were married 'secretly' in Las Vegas in 1933. There is something bout them snnouncing the marriage in a local newspaper when they announced it publicly a bit later. Google led me to all this. But the films I am interested in viewing really dont seem to be avilable any more.
I suppose they did not have sny children and probably divorced after a few years...

RE: Marion Dix
Thanks a lot anyway, I kind of suspected you would not know much. You can actually find where Marion Dix is buried on Findagrave, someone else has made a second entry for her.
I searched for her in several ways and found out she was quite a character, from the early period making Hollywood films, and spent with your father, through being a journalist in Paris at the fall of France in World War II, to working for the UN in Asia in the 1950s.

I left you a message a few minutes ago which I would like to continue. I am a secretary at the International Meditation Centre UK which is directly tied to the International Meditation Centre Rangoon which Marion Dix filmed in 1959. Please feel free to see our website for more information, including photos of Sayagyi U Ba Khin, whom she learned about Burmese Buddhism from, etc. The address is: www/internationalmeditationcentre.org
Please note the British spelling of Centre in the name of the website.
Thank you for your attention, quite a group of people here would really love to see one of her films about Burma if they still exist.

We are trying to locate films made by Marion Dix in 1958-59 in Burma. As you have put her name on this site and your father seems to have been her husband at some time (?), perhaps you can help us locate copies of these films. One was shown on ABC in 1959 as part of the Bold Journey series, it was called "The Road to Mandalay". Another was called "Temple Bells and Modern Dragons" which Ms Dix used to illustrate lectures she gave late in 1959, most notably in Spokane WA.
There is footage in these films of the International Meditation Centre in Rangoon which we would very much like to view, purchase, etc.
Kindly let me know if you are a good person to contact in this regard. (We are already trying to get the first film from ABC.)
Thank you very much.
