RE: Julius Abney
Again thanks a bunch. I have made a memorial for Patty B. "Abney" Smith. She is the daughter of Julius T. and Carrie J. Abney. I had been wondering about her "where-abouts". Her husband is buried in Elmore County. It also appears Julius has three incorrect children linked to him? If you like, you can add Patty's photo to her memorial.

I noticed you took a picture of John T. Abney (1854-1931). I have been looking for her resting place, as well. Her name is Amanda Abney. Her maiden name could be Curry, Cunny, etc.? If you should happen to see an Amanda in this cemetery, please let me know. Thanks again, CBD

PS: Thanks for your service to our country in the USAF. My dad was US Air Corps and USAF.

RE: Union Hill (?) Cemetery

I do see the Adamson memorial is still in Union Hill Cemetery. The administration at F.A.G. was very helpful in getting the cemetery location corrected to Lee County. Hopefully the memorial will soon be moved to Pleasant Grove.

Union Hill (?) Cemetery

Jim, you have posted a photo of an alleged "Union Hill" Cemetery in Chambers County. The photo you posted:

is actually of Pleasant Grove Cemetery that is located in the Union Hill Community.

The memorials for Mrs. Adamson and Mrs. Sims should not be here and I have notified the creators of those. For some reason the newspaper obituaries referred to the cemeteries they were buried in as Union Hill, which was an error in both instances.

Just wanted to bring this to your attention.

Ellis Stoker
Thanks so much for taking the time to photograph his headstone.

I notice that the headstone spelling is different than what records show. But, if the burial is actually for Ellis Stoker, he was my g-g-g grandfather.

Yes, my mother, Margie "Polly" Sanders-Granger talked about "Uncle Allie" your granddaddy. We are cousins!!!!

My sister, Glenda, has done a lot on the family tree and I have been researching on

I did not know my relatives except my mother's sisters and brothers and some cousins. Mom talked about relatives but I never met them.

Thanks for all your work on Find A Grave.
