RE: Julia Ann Kinkade Smith
I've spent years searching for the "Williams" family that Julia Ann belonged to, but not finding them. It was only a few weeks ago that I found Isaac and Julia Ann's Jackson County, IN marriage registration (available from Family Search) which listed her name as Julia Ann Kinkade. I then searched the 1850 Jackson, IN US Census and found a 16 year old Julia Kingcade living in Salt Creek, Jackson, IN with Thomas and Sarah Kingcade.
New discoveries!

I only went to the cemetery to take pictures, but the marker indicates death as 1928.

James Sherman Smith
I added a photo of Isaac Tilton Smith and Julia Ann Smith (with son Albert) to your page for Isaac Smith. I was hoping you would add James Sherman Smith to the list of children as he is my 2nd great-grandfather and is conspicuously missing. I do have a photo of him as well.

Mary Ann Kincade Mulanax
Mary Ann Kincade

The wife of William Dallas Mulanax, according to many records, was either Mary Renfro or Mary McCune and not Mary Ann Kincade.

Mary Ann Kincade was married to his cousin, William Roy Mulanax.

If you are working on this line, I would very much like to hear from you.

Thanks for all the work you've done on Find a Grave.

Linda Walters Essman
Robson home near Mayetta
Hello. I lived on T road 3 miles North East of Mayetta across the road from my Grandparents (Betty and Ballard Walters)from about 1969 to 1971. I remember an old house on the West side of the road not far from my grandparents. It sat way back off of the road and it had big pillars on the front porch. Seems like it was either a dark brown color or needed to be painted very bad! I was wondering if you know of any pictures of that house? It seemed like it was a huge house but it may have just looked that way since I was only about 4 or 5. Also, I think there was an old lady who lived there that my Aunt knew. I'm not sure of that though. My Grandparents house was moved to T road in 1967 from Topeka and originally a different house was in that same spot. From land owner maps it shows that a Robson lived in that house. When I lived on that road it was in an old farm house that was originally owned by S. J. Elliott. It was the house on the East side of the road real close to Cedar Creek. It was torn down in 1976 or 77. My family never took one single picture inside or of the outside of that house. I would also like to see any pictures that the Robson family may have taken that by some miracle shows that old house in the back ground. And one more thing :) I'm interested in is the little school house, South Cedar....there was a teacher, Robert Wayne Robson that taught there at one time and I would like to learn more about the school, other teachers and especially pictures. Do you know if any pictures that exist of anything I've mentioned in this message? Thank you so much...I know this might be a little confusing.

Nothing else. I'm so distantly related it almost doesn't count. Our common ancestor was born in the 1720s.

You're very welcome! Do you know the approximate date of death for Lloyd? I will do some digging and see if I can come up with an obit, and get a memorial created for him.

Since you are family also, I'm going to return the transfer to you when I can get his daughter, Ingeba Gandy Jones, attached. Thanks for letting me know you're connected as well. Do you know of any pictures of Otho and Polly?

I have a tree on rootsweb for you but it seems roots is taking a vacation for two weeks. REALLY! Anyway, when it comes up again, put in her name and when it comes to the list of submitters, mine is marked on the right hand side of the screen with 'doile', my maiden name. I did this for all of us so please enjoy. Did you actually go look at the paretns? Hope so.

Your Cousin, Linda Morris
