RE: WINDCHESTER BERKELY LUNSFORD
The information I received from you in suggest a correction is as follows:

From suggest a correction:
WINDCHESTER BERKELY1 LUNSFORD was the son of THOMAS HENRY GRAY was born 1880 in Manchester Laurel Co. Kentucky, and died 1974 in Claremore Oklahoma. He married (1) MATTIE COLLINS 1920. He married (2) MAME DAWSON 1974.

Children of WINDCHESTER LUNSFORD and MAME DAWSON are:
i BERT LEE2 LUNSFORD, b. 25 February 1907.
ii. HOMER LUNSFORD.
iii. ERNIA LEE LUNSFORD.

I asked you to clarify as his headstone states he died in 1973 but you say he was married to Mame Dawson in 1974. You also state that he had children in 1907 with Mame Dawson whom he didn't marry until after his death. The reply I received for clarification is as follows:

WINDCHESTER BERKELY1 LUNSFORD was the son of THOMAS HENRY GRAY was born 1880 in Manchester Laurel Co. Kentucky, and died 1974 in Claremore Oklahoma. He married (1) MATTIE COLLINS 1920. He married (2) MAME DAWSON

I am sorry, but no clarification has been made and I cannot post conflicting information. I will forward this to Find A Grave and if they choose to put the conflicting information on the memorial I will honor their decision.

Edwin Reed
I have made a correction to cemetery notation for James Edwin 'Ed' Reed, son of outlaws Jim Reed and Belle Starr. If possible, do you know anyone who can photograph his and/ or other graves in the Cochran Cemetery? It seems to be a small cemetery.
I do have a problem with the hand drawn plat map; if its named the Cochran Cemetery, why isnt a Cochran shown buried in plot 1? Ed is shown buried in it on the plat and I think this needs to be researched.
Thanks for your notation. I created Eds page because I couldnt find one for him and I am related to his fathers family.

Winchester Lunsford
The information given is confusing. Mr. Lunsford passed away in 1973 per his headstone. The information you have provided states he married Mame Dawson in 1974. You also provided that he had three children with Mame, one being born in 1907 but they didn't marry until 1974 after his death date. Please clarify information.

Thank you, Lyn

I have no FindAGrave memorial for Matthew Neely and did not "take over" yours. There is another memorial in Ebenezer Cemetery for the same Matthew Neely, but it is not mine.

RE: Roibert Neely
You are the one who added the marriage document you found to my memorial for Robert Neely (29440554); it clearly says "Added by Bev Scott Kendall"; however, your original note implies I did something unethical by "taking over" your memorial. Do you see why I would be concerned about that allegation? I also find some biographical information I wrote on some of your memorials without credit to me, but I have not registered complaints about it to you.

RE: Matthew Neely
To what memorial site are you referring? Matthew Neely is my ancestor and it is my understanding he is buried in Hiram King Cemetery across the road from Kings Grove, but I know of no way I could have "taken over" your site (memorial 64595365), which still bears your name.

Dorcas was my great great grandmother. Though I have not yet finished research on my family tree and do not know the other people in the picture, it is nice to find one with Dorcas in it. Thank you!

Bev. had another contributor saying that Prudence was Peter's daughter. There could easily be two Prudence's. But I don't know either. Let me know if you come to any conclusions.

RE: James Hawkins Dennis
Bev,

I'm confused. You have:
James Dennis died around 1826 and Prudence Dennis died 1847.
I have:
James Hawkins DENNIS April 09, 1831 - February 11, 1910 married to Susannah Cureton YOUNG.

I don't think we're talking about the same James Hawkins Dennis especially if his father died @ 5 years before his birth.

What am I missing?
Regards,
Rich O'Keefe

Thomas Palmer
I enjoyed reading the detailed information on Thomas Palmer's page. The account of the family's journey to Missouri was really fascinating!

Could you point me to where the information came from? Thomas Palmer was my second-great-grandfather, so if there is a longer family history, I'd love to read it.

Thanks!

John Whiteside Sr memorial
Dear Bev:

Hello. I am writing to ask how you obtained the information on John Whiteside, Sr., to create his memorial # 64396027. Was this from family records or other genealogy information? I am one of his descendants, and the information I have suggests that he died in 1760 and 1761 and his widow did not move to North Carolina from Virginia until after she married George Russell in 1767. I thus am surprised to learn that John Whiteside, Sr. might have been buried in North Carolina.

Any information you could provide regarding John Whiteside, Sr's death and burial would be very helpful in the genealogy research several Whitesides and I are doing.

Thank you very much for considering this request. I look forward to hearing from you.

With kind regards,
J Whiteside

The photo is of her husband's parents and Grand parents... John Whalen #35606938 & Mary E. Scott Whalen #85777072 Parents: Elisha Scott #18662230
and Sarah McLaughlin Scott #18662240
Please remove your photo from Mary Chaney Whalen. It really has nothing to do with her and confuses family researcher's. Someone else had posted it to the Scott's. Whose photo was it?
Thank you for the thought. Best Wishes, Lettie
