nick name has been added. however this is the first time i have heard from you and i really didn't like the threat that you implied in your message. i too know some of the family and the ones i talked to didn't really recall "Abe" they knew him by Dale. His father was "Abe".

John R Bateman
I don't think John R Bateman is buried at Mansfield Cemetery. I believe he is buried with his second wife Lena in the Pritchard Cemetery in Elwell, Gratiot Co., Michigan (40399826). If you notice the death date has not been put on the tombstone. I am not sure what to do so I will leave that up to you. Thank you Mike West

John Wood (96068411) and Sarah Wood (96068428)
Please review my edits of John and Sarah Wood's profiles. John and Sarah (Rogers) Wood are my husbands gg grandparents. We have a copy of our Wood family genealogy, written many years ago that states John and Sarah Wood were buried at Lost Grove Cemetery. The Civil War Infantry unit that our John Wood was in matches the inscription on the tombstone, as do the death dates. I have also submitted John and Sarah Wood's correct birth dates and birthplaces. The birth dates coincide with the ages at their death that are on the tombstone. I can provide you with verification of my edits which includes census records from 1860, 1870, 1880, and 1900 showing John and Sarah's residence in the Homer area. Thank you.

RE: Ramos Tombstone
Hello Dana
I must've had a VERY bad day to goof that badly. Thank you for the heads up. Since it was my own photo on Louis J. Ramos, I downloaded it off his and posted it back up onto his wife Priscilla's Memorial# 75079112.
Regards,
Donna

Charles E Gammage
Dana, Charles doesn't have a grave marker with his name on it, only one large stone with "Gammage" on it. I have made a memorial for his wife and linked them. Her stone has "wife of Chas E Gammage" on it.

Delitha Maxwell Jolly
Yes, I have a copy of their marriage application. It is odd, granted. I am descended from the Jolly family and family members I have come across have indicated this to be true. They were married in Missouri April 27, 1873. She is listed as Miss Delitha Maxwell, but she was actually the widow of CG Jolly. I suspect Asher and CG were somehow related, but info on CG very scarce.

Sanford E. Leichty
Hello,
I have came across an issue. If there is a Sanford E Leichty, there is no marker with the others. But there is a Sanford E. Lichty marker there with the dates 1865-1942. There wasn't a memorial pafor this person, so I created one. Find A Grave Memorial# 172486612.

Hi Dana,

I hva been searching for the grave of Julia Ann Driscoll Isenhart in Grove Hill Cemetery in Morrison for some time. I was wondering if you could possibly give me some kind of idea which section of the cemetery her grave is located? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for contacting me. As a long time contributor, you must be aware that as someone who did not create the memorials but only maintains them, I am unable to merge the two memorials together. I am also unable to delete any memorial that I have not created. I have contacted Find A Grave about merging the memorials previously, but I did just reach out to them again. Perhaps you can also contact Find A Grave in order to encourage them to act.

It was my pleasure to take the photo. Besides Mary there was her husband Michael and I assume a son Charles on the same lot.

RE: Wilcox
You are very welcome, Dana. BTW, I included a photo of the Margaret Wilcox marker next to the marker for a Mr. Cyrus Coffyne. They seemed to be so close together I assumed they were that way for a reason? If the photo is inappropriate, let me know and I will remove it. On the other hand, perhaps I have provided you with a mystery to work on.

Ranson Alvin Wiggins
I just noticed that you have my grandfather, Ranson Alvin Wiggins, buried in Resthaven. That is not true. He and my grandmother are both buried in Cave Hill Cemetery. I can guarantee that. I have been there many, many times and many of my Wiggins relatives (including my parents) are buried there. I was just at Cave Hill on July 4 of this year and their tombstones are still there!

RE: Helen Josephine Pattridge Russel
I added the photo for Helen. It's so odd to me that they would have a listing for Helen Partridge and Helen Pattridge at the cemetery. Do you know the story of what happened? It explains why there is no headstone for Helen Pattridge but I wonder why there is a plot for her if she was buried with those other people???
Well whatever the case may be, I'm glad I was able to find her headstone for you. Good luck with your ancestor search.

Helen Josephine Pattridge Russel
Hi,
I went to the Pleasant Grove Cemetery today. Helen Russell is listed on the directory as being buried in Section D, Lot 2, Row 1. There is no stone for her there but there are other Pattridge's buried in that lot.

Across the road from the Pattridge plot, there are other stones for other members of the Pattridge family. There is a stone that has the name "Partridge" inscribed on the top with 3 names on the front of the stone. One of the names is Helen and the dates 1857-1889 which correspond to the dates of the the person you are looking for.

I went back to the directory and there is a Helen Partridge listed as being buried in the cemetery as well.

Is Helen Partridge the woman you are looking for and her name was misspelled on the stone?? The other names on the stone with Helen are Albert (1829-1919) and Eunice (1835-1869).

I took pictures of all of the Pattridge stones and will add those to the Find A Grave site if they have already not been added. Please let me know if you want me to add the photo of the Partridge stone to Helen's name.

Sorry I couldn't find her stone.
