I asked at the office, they didn't seem to be aware of anything in the works, (or at least anything that they would share with me). However, I think they work well with Find a Grave volunteers. I will try to remember to look again in the spring for the head stone. Please feel free to send me a reminder email. Take care.

I believe I may have just found a cousin! My grandfather (actually step-grandfather, but he married my grandmother when my Dad was only 12, so he's the only grandfather I ever knew) was Joseph Leo Dewey - son of Joseph Calven Dewey, who was the son of Willian N. Duey. Your husband and I seem to connect in there somewhere!

|Storres Myers||RE: Jeremiah Duey|
You are welcome and thank you for acknowledging the photo. Jeremiah is the only Duey in Clinton County with a marked grave. He is buried near the Smith family mentioned in his obituary. Winfield Hall Smith is the marker next to him. He is a son of the Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Smith in his obituary and they are in the next row.--Storres

|P.O.W. Dad||Wilfred Clark photo request|
The cemetery office does not have Wilfred listed. They let me see the plot book for his 2nd wife and they show an empty space next to Shirley.
Tomorrow morning I will check Shirley's stone to see if his info was added to the marker, and also check his first wife's burial space.

|Raleigh||John M. Green-Hollywood Forever Cemetery|
Do you happen to be related to the Greens? I see you have added photos for one of John's brothers. I have followed them because John's mother-in-law's family was friends of my distant grandparents. Would like to exchange information if you are related.
It is wonderful all the work you have done on Find A Grave. Keep up the good work!

|Jim Henneman||RE: Doubling Gap Church of God Cemetery|
I am the historian of the Doubling Gap Church of God which includes the Cemetery. The information I have updated comes from the burial records, death certificates, and/or the PA birth/death archives. We are updating our church website which includes cemetery information by linking to "Find a Grave" so we don't have to rebuild that portion of our website.
I have used Find a Grave for years while doing my own genealogy research and love it and refer others to that site.
Are you familiar with this particular cemetery, or do you work with any Find a Grave entries? Most of my relatives are from Indiana & Armstrong Counties in PA.

Growing up I did live at Mt. Juliet not far from Lebanon, but have not lived in that area since 1955. John and Ann are my 5th great-grandparents. Hope you have a great trip.

|Sarah Martin Neely||Find a Grave edits|
Thanks so much for alerting me to this problem. I discovered several places where people have edited errors into my memorials. Thanks to you, I was able to change them back. I really, REALLY don't like this policy from Find a Grave. I especially didn't appreciate that people had sent me "corrections" for both of my own grandmothers!!
I do really appreciate your help.

Seems like there are a lot of ungrateful people out there. You are personally one of my best/favorite resources as we share several branches. We had a great year I hope next year is even better

Thank you so much for the photos of Sam & Sarah's markers. I am amazed at the generosity that a group or individual to place these markers. Sam was my 2nd great uncle, my grandfathers namesake, and his name was passed on to me. Thank you again.

|Sherry||Just a Thank-you|
I am working on the descendants of Elijah Duncan who was born in Virginia and served in the Revolutionary War. I have a well documented genealogy that was sent to me several years ago and there were no glitches whatsoever until I arrived at Mary Jane Duncan who married John L Graham. The John Graham listed in the genealogy was "a different" John Graham and Mary Jane Duncan settled in Nebraska and lived to a ripe old age.
In this particular line, I have had to start from scratch and I must say, the memorials that you list have made this endeavor so much easier. I just wanted to say many thanks for all that you do!

This is the first I've heard about the edit notification process. Thanks. If there are memorials I've created for any of your relatives, and you would like me to transfer the memorial to you, just let me know.

Thanks! No email notice when an edit appears on your home page? Kinda scary. Go away on vacation and something could slip by and get automatically updated. VERY SCARY!

My thoughts exactly Peggy, I don't understand why people want to manage memorials and don't want to add to them, sad indeed. You are very lucky they are letting you do the obits, but if they don't add them, all that work for nothing. :( We just keep trying to do our best, God bless you.
