|wolfman||Private Albert Acker #21861213|
Hello I was not meaning to step on any toes but Albert Acker is my direct ancestor by way of the Samuel Acker line. Last autumn I financed having his marker reset in concrete as it was tipping as well as that of Sarahs (also of course a direct ancestor), and had his daughter Permelias marker (which was flat on the ground) stood upright and set as well. If you are not a direct ancestor as well perhaps transferring the maintenance of the memorial to me (even though not required as Find-A-Grave only goes back to great-grandparents in requiring that I believe) might be a consideration. Please feel free to contact me again but there may be a lag time in my response as this disabled veteran just had two cataract surgeries and may have to have further corrective laser surgery, so please excuse any typos on my part.

Hi there, I saw you linked Elizabeth T. Barber Hendershott (#35505701) as the daughter of Rebecca Frost Chandler (#35505701). Can you tell me how you made this connection? I'm doing some genealogy research, and looking for Elizabeth and her sister's mother is driving me mad. Thanks!

|Daniel Norton||Norton Y-DNA|
Do you know of any of the Norton lines in your virtual cemetery have had Y-DNA testing? I'm trying to solve a mystery of my ancestor whose Y-DNA trail connects him to protestant Nortons in Quebec and upstate/western NY. He had lived in western NY, but records show him as from Ireland and among Irish Catholics.

I was just emailed about you transferring Abram Artman to me. I would be glad to get the Memorial.
Thank you very much. I haven't had any time to do anything on Find A Grave. I am working on my Gerling Family line in Rochester, NY. I plan on going to the cemeteries in and around Dansville next summer. I was raised in Dansville and many cousins still live there. I live in Henrietta, a suburb of Rochester. David Artman Gerling.

I'm in the process of transferring most of my memorials to other contributors or to Find A Grave. Let me know if there are any memorials you want transferred to you. Specific people or specific cemeteries. I'm moving very quickly with the transfers.
Spending too much time with the deceased!

I am seeking information on my 5th ggrandfather Caesar Lewis of Weathersfield. In your memorial re: Jabez Lewis you mention the 1800 Weatherfield Census. I am particularly interested in the information you may have on his wife Lucy and Child Roxanna and would like to inquire if this family is of African American descent.

Martin Flick is my 3rd great grandfather and until a few minutes ago, I did not know of his existence. I have been looking for him for many years. I am descended form his daughter, Anna Christiana who married Hugh Sloan Gardner. I just found your memorial to him and I am thrilled to find it. I am also thrilled to learn of his military service, which I value greatly. Are you related? My email address is email@example.com if you would be willing to contact me.
Thank you, thank you for this memorial!

|whitepaper||RE: The Rix family in Ford Cemetery|
Thank you so much for the information about Ford Cemetery. It will quite valuable in my trip to the cemetery. I am quite anxious to get there, but I think I will wait for warmer weather with less snow.
Also, thanks for the transfer of my Rix Cousin Memorials. It was quite unexpected. I have very few relatives buried in this part of Upstate. I will take good care of them.

|whitepaper||Rix Family at Ford Cemetery|
Thank you for the memorials and pictures of the Rix Family and their tombstones. I just recently discovered the Rix branch of my tree and was surprised to see Uncle Rufus and his family buried in Springwater. Am I correct in assuming you could not find stones for Lydia Barber and Rufus and Lydia Barber? I plan to visit the cemetery in the spring. I would appreciate any information you could offer about the cemetery.

Liberty Wellington Butler. I am his great great Grand daughter and have been requested to ask if the memorial may be transferred to my care because we have two memorials for him, the one you care for is his actual grave site, the other in Cook County, Illinois is really just a memorial stone so that when his wife died they would (kind of) be in the same place.
I have requested the transfer from the other care taker of the memorial in Illinois and if you will be so kind as to transfer him to me too, then I can combine the two and state that one is where he is actually buried while the other is a memorial that way we do not lose both but there is not two find a grave listings for him.
Thank you, kelly sullivan (#46576047)

You have posted a picture of my great x3 grandfathers grave stone on Find A Grave. Is there away for me to get a personal copy of this? His name is:
Marcus Augustus Peck b 1799 - d 1875
Buried Vail of Rest Cemetery, near Wallace, NY.
If you have any lot numbers for burial that would be great too!
Thank you so much for the work you do!
