Hennessey Connection
Adeline Mason Poling
For some unknown reason, my computer has placed the wrong bio info with Adeline Poling.

Here is the correct information.

Mrs. Adaline Poling of Keyport died on Tuesday of last week. Her death was caused by typhoid pneumonia, and she had been sick only five days. She was 73 years old and had lived at Keyport since she was twenty years old. For forty years she had been a member of the Keyport Methodist church. Her husband, William Poling, survives her, and she also leaves three daughters and four sons. The children are Samuel, William A., Britton and Thomas Poling; Adaline, wife of Forman Smith; Emma, wife of William H. Bryne; and Mary, Wife of Harry Alberts. Mrs. Poling also leaves 86 grandchildren. She was a sister of Wesley Mason, who lives between Keyport and Holmdel.

Lucy Truax Brown #60660673
Hello , I am Cecelia Truax Basilotto. The daughter of Cecil L Truax Sr, son of John E Truax Sr.

lucy Truax is my relative on my fathers side. Richard lived from 1887-1941. Lucy lived from 1897-1944. They had 1 son Richard Jr. 1903-1983 and a daughter Melissa 1902-1975.

This is recorded in the family bible and I was just at the cematary this past week and confirmed it.

I spent the afternoon cleaning off grave stones and cutting off unruly ivy.

Thanks for taking the time to do what you have done ,regarding the graves.

RE: Condit Family
No, I did not see a marker at the cemetery. All of the tombstones were removed and placed in the vault at Fairmount Cemetery, Newark, NJ in 1959. The bodies were never removed and were paved over for a parking lot. The church burial records don't indicate a removal to Rosedale Cemetery. His marker at Rosedale may just be a cenotaph.
