Jordan graves
Hi Lynette,
Just curious why you posted the Jordan photos. Are you by chance a descendant of Jacob G.L. Jordan?
I haven't connected with any of my Jordan cousins, so just a a shot in the dark.
Thanks,
Bryan

Sherry Allcorn
Indian card and pic request
Hello Lynette,

I haven't email you in a while. My name is Sherry Windom (Allcorn). I hope you are doing well. I am a great granddaughter of Catherine Woodward. I am busy putting together a book on my Dad's side of the family. I finished mom's side, it turned out to be 307 pages filled with pictures, information, and stories. I probably haven't emailed you since 2006. I came down with Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma and received treatment during the year of 2007 and am now in remission. During this time I worked diligently on mom's side of the family book. I completed it in February 2008.

I am happy to see so many of the pictures of the Woodwards although I never did find one on Catherine. I hope you don't mind I'd like to use your pictures in Dad's side of the family book. I will of course place your name beside them for contributing these. Although I didn't have one of Catherine, I can imagine maybe how she looked from her sisters pictures you have provided. Thanks so much for these.

At one time you sent the documents on Lewellen Bainbridge Woodward about him being one quarter Cherokee. I kept them and will put them in the "Windom" book. The question I'd like to ask you is; Do you know what process I would go through to receive an Indian card? I'm not sure I am even eligible but maybe I can look into this. Do you have any Indian rights or benefits from the Cherokee Nation? Also Lewellen is said to have referred to Jamima(sp?) Ann Jester as his Indian wife. Do you know anything about her, if she was Indian. The "Jester" name I thought was English. I'm just now looking into this. I don't know about Katy Huff. I look forward to hearing from you and hope to hear from you soon.

Thanks so much,

Sherry Windom
PS Do you have a complete pic of Lewellen and Jamima headstone. I noticed the one on this site is covered over. Just a request. Thanks so much.

Eli C. Estep
I was wondering if you knew where Elizabeth Tucker Estep is buried at. She was married to Eli. I heard she was buried at Oark but not for sure.

Thank you,

Sheryl Crofford
