Myrtle was one of my aunts. Would be interesting to learn of your connection to Myrtle? Naturally, Kelly was one of my uncles. Wayne Gilreath

Re: Mildred Traynor
Hello!
Epiphany Cathedral has a memorial wall and also a memorial garden. I took a photo of Mildred's name on the plaque for you.
I searched the garden to see if she had a memorial brick, but I did not see one for her. They can be purchased for a charge according to the ladies in the gift shop.
If there is anything else I can do for you- don't hesitate to ask! This location was very close to my home. I took more photos of the garden and a larger picture of the plaque which I could send to you if you provide an email address.

I don't know that this helps or not, but I have seen it often with infants & young children. The parents either don't have the money for a marker or they use a small field-type marker that over the years just disappears into the ground and thus, their grave becomes unmarked.

I checked out George Rudd and Ida Wilson's death certificates online and they were indeed buried in Grassy Lick in Morgan County, so I can only assume then that they had no grave markers as we were unable to locate them.

Elsberry Rudd
You're quite welcome, glad to be able to help!

I put the location info in the caption to the photo. If you double click on the small photo on his page, it will open to a larger one with the caption underneath.

To find his site, look for curb number 146 at the Garden of Remembrance, walk 13 rows into the lawn, and then 14 spaces to the right. He is buried between Katherine Henderson and Gwen Damuth.

I was able to confirm with the office that the people mentioned above were on either side, so I know it's the right place. Not sure whether these are relatives, or it was just an available single space. Didn't see any other last names of Rudd in the immediate area.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do. Rose Hills is a HUGE cemetery (1500+ acres, largest single site in the world!).
