|Becky Matthews Fox||Thank you|
Thank you, Connie, for all the time you put into adding obituaries to records. They have really valuable information about the person and family and are so helpful. You do great work!

|KGL||Lewis Green Parentage|
Does anyone have information on who Lewis's father and mother are? I am Lewis's 6th great granddaughter. I was fortunate to get information about his marriage to Elizabeth Lauderdale but found no supporting documents. Then I heard a descendant of Lewis had found a family Bible with the Lauderdale connection. I would love information or an image of that Bible document if anyone has information. Also, ancestry.com trees list Robert Green as his father, but Robert Green's will does not list Lewis as a son. Some say he is a grandson of Lewis Green or Burwell Green. I want to build my tree but am at a standstill. Interestingly, Lewis and Elizabeth are my 6th great grandparents on two lines, once through James, Sr. and once through Nancy Susannah.

I noticed that you uploaded a picture of Roy Worthams death certificate into find a grave. Where did you get this information. I am his granddaughter. And my great grandparents are charley and Eileen Wortham. Did you know them? Are you related to them?

|L. Brown-Atwell||RE: Ernest Scott-Skutt|
Ernest's grandfather, Paul Skutt is my 3rd great uncle, which would make us cousins. I have found in doing my research and family tree that Skutt name has shown up with some weird variations. Sometimes I think, they just kept the name, like Scott to make things easier. Anyway, my direct line through my grandfather is all Skutt.

I understand these are your G G Grandparents, I am looking for information on them when they lived in Elba twp. Gratiot co. Michigan. They lived on 40 acres in section 24 of Elba twp. and I wondered if you had any information on their cabin or pictures of the cabin. I have a cabin that came from George Ridsdale's farm that was next to Stephen's and I was told that the cabin had been moved from the south side of the river to the north side. The cabin was given to my mother in 1968 and we moved it 1 1/2 miles to where it sits now. Looking at a 1889 plat book shows a cabin on Stephen's place on the south side of the river. We are donating the cabin to the Gratiot co. Museum and would like to know more info on it if we can.

|Vicki Evans||Nathan Rice|
I tried to send you this on the edit tab and it kept giving me a Sending Error. I just copied and pasted this.
Thanks for posting all of the great Carter Co. Obits. I do have a request. Can you move Nathan Rice to the Cane Creek Cemetery in Greenup County? I haven't gotten his family in there but I plan to soon. I know that he, his brothers and parents have markers there. The Cane Creek Cemetery is just over the Carter/Greenup Co. line but it is actually in Greenup County.
I have been working on Cane Creek this morning. Cane Creek Cemetery was known as the Elam Graveyard, the Caudle Graveyard, the McCall Graveyard and the Cane Creek Graveyard. All one cemetery running from the top of the hill down the ridge to the creek. I have family buried all the way down. James Harvey Elam actually donated the land but there were burials there before for he purchased to the property. Due to the many unmarked graves, I'm not sure just how old it is.
Thanks for your great work!

|Barbara Chisler||RE: Martha McGuire|
Thank you for replying. If I find some information on her will it be alright to put on the memorial? Only things as such as marriage notice, death, etc. Other articles I will gladly send to you on both Martha and John. I'm an avid believer in reading old newspapers.

Okay, I just figured out what I did wrong. Four of the children I had as being his and Clara's were actually noted as being illegitimate on the 1910 census. I was probably working late at night and did not pay attention :)

I'm wondering if my research is off. In this obituary it lists three children who survived him but my research shows he remarried after Jennie died and had 6 more children, all of whom outlived him..but they are not in the obituary. Do you know if the second marriage is correct?

Thank you so much for clearing up who shot my cousin 1x removed. I saw in the obituary that he was shot, but didn't know who did it. Now, thanks to you, I do. I thought the 50's was a little late for the fued killings to still be going on. Charlie's mom's first husband (Ellington Johnson) was killed by her brother (Jake Harper) on a revenge for a family fued. Again, thanks for clearing this up for me. I would be interested if you have a newspaper article on that shooting.

|HistoryBuff||Florence Green Hier photo|
Hello, I see you posted a cropped photo from a photo I have shared on ancestry.com of my grandparents and family. I had discussed whom this grandmother might be with another family member, but we couldn't determine if this lady was Grandpa Jerry's mother or Minnie's mother. Do you have solid evidence that this is Florence Green? I have the original photo and it does not name this lady.
Would appreciate it if you removed the photo, since we don't have confirmation who this grandmother is.

|Marge Zabik||Could you help me find Carolyn Hier Dawson|
I've been trying to locate Carolyn. We graduated from Fraser high school in 1958 and used to double date back then.
She sent me a card about 2 yrs ago but I didn't get her new address put into my address book. If you could have her contact me I'd really appreciate it.
I had to have back surg. at the time so life was very disruptive.
My kids gave me a tablet so if she wants to contact me she can do so by email.
Hope that you can help me with this.
Regards, Marge Zabik

There is more than one Elizabeth Mason I guess Or more than one Elizabeth married to a Peter. ( No it never sunk in on me.) The Peter I am interested in is Peter Jr. who moved from Virginia to Morgan County Ky. He would be my third great grandfather. Peter Sr my fourth.
