John Clay Harris
RE: John Seely
Just so you will know about my connection, I made, with the help of another Seeley Researcher,a mystery on my connection to the Seeley's in Vermont and then Dunham,Canada.I had a bible record which you can see on,Israel Seeley's second Wife ,Sarah Stone (memorial # 69269071)..Anyway Sarah is my 4th great grandmother and her first husband,Ebenezer Sanderson is my 4th great grandfather.Sarah and Ebenezer son,David Sanderson's bible was passed down in my family and David recorded is mothers death as Jan 26,1840 and he made a notation in the bible record "My mother Sarah Sanderson or Seeley" when recording her death. For years I thought Sarah's middle name was Seeley until the Seeley Researcher send me the Pic of Sarah's Grave stone at Capeles corner cemetery in Dunham Canada,of which led me in discovering ,Sarah's third marrage was to,Israel Seeley in Sudbury ,Vermont on Nov,20,1820.Sarah had married second,in 1803 to a, Seth White in Franklin,Vermont explaing how,Israel Seeley Vermont marriage record says he married a Sally White in 1820.This info about Israel Seeley marriage to a, Sally White was recorded in the posted,Seeley geneology publised in 1997 and posted,Isreal Seeley's memorial.Since we now know in was my,Sarah maiden name Stone(also on her grave stone)I made the correction explaining this on the said Seeley geneologyy page(39 & 40) of the children of ,John Stone's son,Ephraim Seelye children which list Ephraim's son,Israel Seeley.

meeting house cemetery
Hi, I went to the Meeting House Cemetery in New Milford this afternoon and was unable to find a grave. Do you have, or do you know where I can find a diagram of the graves? I am looking for David and/or John Seeley/Seelye.

Thank you!

Terry
Evans family genealogy
Hello Judith -- I am searching for John A. Evans, born about 1820 in England. On the 1860 census, a John A. Jr. (8 years old) is listed with John and Caroline Evans, Hebron, Jefferson Co. WI. The information on findagrave lists all the other children, except John. Do you have any information regarding him? John A. Evans born 12-25-1850 is my husband's great-great grandfather. Thanks in advance for any info you may have. Terry Sullivan Smelcer

Elizabeth's maiden name is Forney, daughter of William and Mary and Forney. I added her birth and death year. I can't find an Adam, son of Elizabeth and John or even Elizabeth. Sorry

RE: Gallion Family
No I am not. My father was born and raised in Crandon and I decided to photograph both the Town of Crandon Cemetery (Siding 1) and Crandon Lakeside Cemetery. (Got 1/2 of the headstones photographed - 1500 pictures.) I have extended family buried in both cemeteries. I am related to the Ison family buried in the town of Crandon cemetery by marriage. Kevin

RE: Elizabeth Feight
I am away from home for 2 weeks. Many Feights in my family, and if she is buried in Hershberger, she almost has to be related to me. When I go home, I'll look her up in my genealogy program and see if I can get a maiden name.

Hannah Parsons Matteson
Hannah Parsons Matteson is not buried in the Vaughn Lot in East Greenwich. http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=17219735

She remarried Charles Hazelton after Henry's death and is likely buried elsewhere with him. There is no evidence that any Mattesons are buried in the Vaughn Lot.
