Kathi Puckett DeSplinter
The last portion of my recent message was incorrect. Kathi Puckett DeSplinter date of birth should be 11/06/1957. She was born just before midnight on the 6th and her twin brother, Don was stillborn just after midnight on the 7th. You now have his date of birth correct. Thank you, Ron Edmunds

Kathi Puckett DeSplinter
I am Kathi's first husband. Her date of birth is shown here incorrectly. The correct date is Nov. 06,1957. Also, her twin brother, Don Carrie Puckett, who died at birth shows incorrect date of birth and date of death. They both should be Nov. 07,1957. His headstone is shown to verify these dates. Kathi was born just before midnight and Don just after. Thank you, Ron Edmunds

Please ignore my previous message. It finally took my correction. Thanks

Raymond Lee Ring
I sent a relationship connection for Raymond Ring, but the number did not take correctly. His father should be Brents Ring, #8402776. I tried to correct this but I couldn't get back in to do so. Thanks.

Odene Rains Biffle
Are you related to or do you know any relatives of Odene Rains Biffle?
Her ancestor John Rains' cemetery was destroyed by a greedy auto shop next door who falsified statements to the judge. They said the cemetery was abandoned with no visitors over the previous year, despite the fact that descendants along with the Davidson County Cemetery Survey Commission and Nashville Historical Society hired an archaeologist who restored the cemetery and was there daily for months preceeding when the auto shop filed the court papers. No prayer service was performed when they were reburied, and headstones that had just been restored were carelessly broken in the move. The family didn't know until we tried to visit it and it was a newly paved parking lot. John Rains was the son of one of the original Nashville Tennessee settlers Captain John Rains.
We need as many descendants as possible to count when filing a complaint against the auto shop for not notifying the family of the court petition or date as well as lying to the judge. Descendants don't have to be formally included on the lawsuit, but I do need their name to pass along to the lawyer who contacted us who volunteered to file the complaint (we need their names so we don't count them twice in our number). We just need names of descendants of John Rains who agree that the cemetery shouldn't have been dug up and destroyed without notifying the family. This doesn't typically happen and it needs to be brought to the court's attention so it won't happen to other small family cemeteries. The bigger the numbers, the better result to get the judge's attention that this decision hastily made based on lies was a poor choice. I can give the lawyer's email address to anyone who would prefer to contact him directly. I don't think the judge is going to be too happy when he finds out he was lied to and tricked. Thank you for your consideration!

RE: Haynes memorials
Betty Anne,
I wouldn't object at all if you delete some of the pictures. I made them with an iPhone to get the GPS location and some of them are pretty bad. My main objective was just to establish memorials if none were existing. Don't hesitate to let me know if I can help.

Betty Anne,
I transfered management of my Triune memorials to you. You have access to information that I would never have and can do a much better job of insuring accuracy. May God bless you and thank you for your service to the community.

Re: Eliza Jane Lockhart (Ellis)
Thank you, Betty Anne, for all that you do here! It's just wonderful to find this site and information.
On Eliza Jane Lockhart's page, one child is listed. That child is Christopher Ellis.
Noble Ellis and Eliza Jane Lockhart Ellis had a daughter---Katherine L. Ellis. Her name in the records is shown sometimes different ways.
Katherine Leontine Ellis, Kate Ellis, etc.
Their marriage certificate says Leontine C. Ellis!
Confusing---yes, but it is the same person.

Thank you for any edit you can do on Eliza's page to document her daughter, Katherine. Katherine Ellis married Henry C. Alexander. After his death, she married a Franklin Turner.

I am Eliza and Noble Ellis's great great great granddaughter.

Again, thanks for all you do.

I do maintain a family tree on I have an Alexander-Dennison tree which contains these people. I'm listed as the admin.'

Thanks again!

Thank you for your efforts; This marker is for my Sister-in-law from Nashville. I was checking for a photo of the marker before it was damaged. There was a bird sculpture in the opening when the stone was designed and placed. If you need Obituary info I will be glad to help. Tina Page Roberts,

Annis White Roberts
Hello Betty,

I am one of many granddaughters of Elrose Harper, daughter of Annis White Roberts. I have recently started a search wanting to know more about my grandmothers side through her mother. I was told by a uncle that my grandmother's mother was buried at Gum Springs Baptist as well. I thought maybe you might know what Annis's mothers name was or even maiden name?

Here's to the long journey!:)

Ginger Stephenson
Child of Jervis and Alice Pettus
Thank you for all of your hard work. Your information on the Thomas family has helped me a great deal. You might be interested in knowing that Jervis and Alice Thomas had 10 children. The one you are missing is my grandmother Donie Pearl Thomas Pettus (18 Feb 1888- 16 June 1978). She was married to Jesse Allen Pettus (19 June 1873 - 29 Jan 1957). They are buried on the farm where they lived in the College Grove area.

Admins merged the bogus cemetery in Rutherford into the correct one in Davidson County this morning, so yours is now in the correct location.

No problem!
99% of the 671 Magaret-s should be MaRgaret....
Via all names can be listed in all cemeteries, e.g. all WilLliams or all WilhEmina, etc.
I have corrected over 10,000 names on Findagrave so far, enabling the public to find those memorials with the right spelling. Occasionally the name is non-standard and my correction is refused. That is an acceptable risk.
And I found some 1000 duplicates....
Have a nice day.
