|James Larry Jones||Jacob Hughes|
In the memorial for Jacob Hughes I am certain that the census information from the 1870 census is incorrect
for this Jacob Hughes. He is my GG Grandfather and Suzie Spruill Hughes in the same cemetary was his spouse and they were both the same age born in 1817. They always lived in Clay county, never in Coosa County. My G Grandparents Jeptha W Hughes (absent from the 1870 census as further evidence) and Alice (Simpson) Hughes and Grandparents Edward Parsons and Susie(Hughes)Parsons are in the same cemetery. The same wrong information is listed in the memorial for Suzie Spruill Hughes, his spouse. Would you please research this and correct it. The other information about the civil war I'm not sure about. If you are related to the Jacob and Susie Hughes listed in the Coosa census, then I don't think you are related to the Hughes in this cemetery. If that is the case could you transfer this memorial to me.

|John W Grier||Lillie Mae Lang "Grier"|
Lillie is my second cousin. I have very little memory of her since she moved out of state and as a child only got to see her at family reunions. I sure would like to find out more about her father Archie and how he died shortly after her birth.

Hi! My wife is a descendant of John Starke Rhodes and Susan A. Foster. I'd love to discuss the genealogy info you have on them. Please contact me at 30T8bbDqhnV0IF70@fascism.trillianpro.com. Thanks!
P.S. That's a temporary email address so that I don't have to post my real one here. I'll be glad to give you my real one once you contact me.

You are more than welcome. When I go back out to figure out the inscription on the headstone, I will forward it to you as well. I just didn't have the right equipment on Friday and was under the impression that the headstone was not still standing.

Please let me know what you're looking for in researching the Lee Family.

I did a little background searching on Lavone Blackwell and it appears to me that she is probably located at the Roselawn Memorial Cemetery in West Virginia and not Gulf Breeze, FL. Her husband died in 2005 and I am assuming that he was probably buried next to her. His Findagrave #is 66909261. I have sent an email to Heidi in the photo request but since you claimed the request, I wanted to let you know so you didn't spend to much time at the cemetery. Have a great day. Kari

|Lynda Duncan Miles||Jacob Hughes|
I have re-checked my chart, and I DO have Riley Hughes b. 1817 –
and Jacob Hughes 1822 – 1910
I just have to sort this all out, as I have no documentation supporting either's birth. Just information gleaned from other Ancestry trees. More research. Perhaps you can help me with the information you got on Jacob.

|Lynda Duncan Miles||Jacob & Benjamin Hughes (1759 - 1849)|
I am a descendant of Benjamin Hughes. However, I don't have a Jacob on my charts as a child of Benjamin. I have a Riley Hughes born in 1817 to Benjamin G. Hughes and Anna Mason. Would you please tell me how you connected Jacob to Benjamin? I'm wondering if he is Jacob Riley (or Riley Jacob), or one of us has mis-information. Thank you for all your hard work, and for posting these wonderful headstones, that are so valuable to all of us working on our family history.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

I'm not related to Jacob or Susie but have been researching the Spruills and Hughes. Wendy just transfered Jacob's memorial to me the other day.
I've linked him to his father. If you are related, I'll transfer them to you.
My main interest: Moses Hughes in Texas...
