|Mary M||Johanna Kapus, nee GOGOLA|
Please note that the Find A Grave Contributor for Memorial 22125855, listed as Johanna Kapus, nee GOGALA, created by E. M., is incorrect. This was not her surname. The creator of this memorial has no proof. There is also an error as to the death place for Joseph Kapus, and Frank Kapus, sons, as well. The creator for the memorial apparently is unfamiliar with searching for death records in the State of Washington, by using the Washington Digital Archives. He refused to change his error.

|Lindie Lahiff||Info on Memorial #28411274|
Hi. I just received a notice of more record matches (Ancestry), and came across a marriage of a relative I had not known about...but it all checks out.
Memorial #28411274 is the same as a memorial for Julia P. Howe (#36997291) under which she is buried in Striker Cemetery (see photo on that memorial). I thought you might want to add a note to your memorial? On Ancestry I just found that after the death of her first husband, Leander Howe, she re-married John S. Pursell. He was the informant on her death certificate. They were married 25 Apr 1891, second marriage for both. Julia died 14 MAR 1906 in Blendon, Ottawa Co, MI. (also where John listed as his home)
Julia had lived in Baltimore, MI (Now Baltimore township, in Hastings, Barry Co., MI) I am related to Julia, but not the caretaker of her other memorial.

I have his death certificate and it states that his father was Milton Willard Newton and his mother was Lucy Ann Smith. He and his brother Chester Howard Newton married sisters, Josie Bell and Juanita Howard the daughters of Andrew Monroe Howard and May (last name unproven). Rhodene Frederick

It appears that this memorial is a duplicate to # 16815511.
From my research she is the wife of Alfred F. Smith #16815246, as seen on his tombstone picture.
The plot location that you give for her is right next to him.
Just thought I'd let you know.
Thanks for all of your great work for Find A Grave

Hello EM, thanks for adding bio info...I also sent some other edits for Matthias to you and wonder if you know of any burial listings for this Cemetery. I think his wife Rachel Sigler Chase is likely buried here with him. I thought she died in 1873 however now I think that was a different Rachel Sigler perhaps. IF you have any other info on burials in Striker, would be immensely appreciated! thanks!

|Ruth Clarke||28433005 Norman N Latham|
I question that Norman N. Latham is buried at Striker Cemetery as opposed to Dowling Cemetery where an image of his gravestone can be found as well as the gravestone of his second wife (Mary Ann Fulton) and their son John G. Latham. Norman Latham's first wife was Eliza -- she is listed by you at Striker although no photograph of grave. Norman Latham's daughter by his second wife (e.g.Nellie Latham Fancher, wife of David Gilbert "Bert" Fancher appears to be buried at Striker Cemetery (photographs of gravestone posted).

|AMB||Thank you again :-)|
Please check your memorial for Mary Ellen (Smith) Hufford, found here:
This is to thank you again, for a find that allowed an entire family to be "reunited" once more via findagrave. Without the information that you first added (which has been added to since), her story would have been lost. It took *MAJOR* genealogical researching and puzzling to put her story together, but the initial info that you added at findagrave was the key.
Now, I've learned that she had seven (not just six!) children, and been able to find them all and get them linked to their mother. Each child had a little bit of her story. With her death, most of the children scattered.
Again, thank you!

|K. Baxter||transferring family members|
It appears that you manage my family members at little Elm Cemetery, Little Elm, Texas. What do I need to do to manage them myself? Their last name is Baxter; my grandparents, my parents, and my uncle. I am also looking for info about a (I believe) Mt. Olive? Cemetery that may know be the Macedonia Cemetery in Lewisville. Someone who worked for my grandparents (Shelton) ....a man that was a cook on the cattle drives for the Chisholm trail (a former slave) named Jack Hair or Hare. I would appreciate any info you can provide. Katherine Baxter baxter.katherine

|Will Parr||Baird Family|
My name is Will Parr. I've been working on my fiancee Nicole Ashworth's family tree. Her great great grandparents were Samuel Rufus Baird and Emily Leona Hullit "Emma" Reed, and her great grandparents were Thomas Poage "T P" Baird and Mildred Idora Martin, then her grandparents were Hazel Bessie Baird and Paul James Ashworth. I have been struggling really hard to locate more pictures and especially grave locations of those great and great great grandparents. I already found and got help getting pictures of Hazel's grave and that of her sisters, Melba Williams and Jewel Baird plus their personal pictures. Is there a way you can provide assistance for me so I can help Nicole Ashworth build up her family tree? Appreciate any info you can provide!
