You sent an edit suggesting I add this daughter...but Find a Grave only allows the addition of parents. Please contact Cleo's memorial maker to add parents.

Elihu Paine & Mary Paine
Hi again! The CT mem # is # 116990826. I noticed the transcription part says "Amenia Burying Ground" (which is located in NY). Thanks again!

Elihu Paine & Mary Paine
Hello! Thank you for your contributions to Findagrave. I noticed a record for Elihu Paine & his wife Mary are listed as being buried in CT, and there also exists an identical record, Memorial# 22429792 with them buried in Amenia New York. Do you have any info on which might be correct, CT or NY? Thank you! :)

Hello Bunny!

Just found where you had added a prayer card to John Gerdemann and had to check out your bio here on F-a-G.
Kudos to you for joining in and contributing!
I did not know you were a Civil War buff too! My husband just loves Civil War stuff. The whole family buys him Civil War books for Christmas and birthdays LOL

RE: Ezra Kent headstone picture
A special thanks go out to our town historian, Pat Odiorne. She had taken pictures a few years back. By the time I decided I was going to take gravestone pictures a lot had the gravestones had deteriorated badly. Because she watches our little cemetery closely she was able to come up with the picture

I've deleted the photo from my camera; if you want to see the stone, it's available at ohiogravestones.org

You are very welcome. I happened to be in the area, and I was very lucky to have a local volunteer's help with a list of inscriptions. Jen

I will be doing a historic tour of the cemetery this weekend, weather permitting, and I will see if there is a marker there to photograph. Bette

RE: Marion Arthur Noel, your Uncle
You are most welcome. My husband's family knew Marion and Oneta (Crites) Noel their entire lives, sang in church together, Noel did the funerals for several brothers and sisters and husband's parents. Two of the finest people I've ever met. You are fortunate to be family.

Benita Steyer, I have added Marion's middle name as you suggested. I will go ahead and transfer this Memorial to you since you are his niece, okay?

I will continue to look for this grave marker as I walk the cemetery. I've been there three times. It's very large, but just over a mile from my house. Theresa

Thank you so very much for the monument photo for Margaret Ruth and her husband. Do you know anything about her, especially her maiden name? I'm still hesitant to link her to the people I believe to be her parents without that extra bit of knowledge. Again, THANKS!

Dorsey Barnes Drane
My "Job" Buckner connection is unsure ...
Job's wife was Jane Lester, and I'm related to the Lesters by marriage. My grandaunt married Lemuel Braxton Lester, and I'm not sure if Jane and Lemuel were related or not. For I while I thought they were, but now I can't recall why I thought that.

Regardless, my Dad thought a great deal of is aunt Neal and Lemuel Lester, and especially his cousin, Walter Hugh Drane Lester. (This was a family that went by their middle names. Aunt Neal was Louisa Neal Drane, and her son went by Drane Lester.)

Claude Hallock
Benita: I recently visited West Street Cemetery in Trumbull County Ohio getting photos of family members. I found the grave stone for Claude Hallock. His name appears on the reverse side of the grave stone for James/Harriett/Mable Hallock. Photo for them is posted on Find A Grave. Unfortunately I cannot post Claude's photo due to its size. When I am able to shirnk it, I will try to post it to Find A Grave.
