RE: Taunt
Maria Taunt's mother was Nancy Noah. She married Edward Byron Lamoure who was Maria Taunt's father. Edward was killed by Indians in 1865 and Nancy remarried a few years later to John Griffith. That is why the gravestone for Maria's mother says Nancy Griffith. I have submitted edits to the administrator of her memorial to show among other things that her maiden name was Noah, but those changes haven't been added yet.

No, I'm not researching this but I get sent a lot of wrong info, so I usually check myself as much as I can. I found a number of trees on that all give January 1860 as date of birth, but no middle name.

Thanks for info. Where are you finding date of birth and middle name? I see one person on the 1900 census which might match him and gives date of birth as January 1860. Thanks.

In the 1930 Indianapolis Indiana census with the rest of them, but maybe not Antoinette (Toni) because I think she was born in 1930
All have passed now.

RE: Egan's
Hello Jerry. You are very welcome. Thank you for having their exact grave location. Sylvan Abbey is huge - and knowing where to look made the hunt a lot easier. If you would like any further photos, please don't hesitate to ask.

Madeline Marie Fisher
Hello, I see that your Madeline Fisher attached as a sister to my great grandmother Lucy Fisher whose parents were Antoine Fisher (Poissant) and Charlotte Cote. If you look at Madeline's DOB and the DOB of Antoine and Charlotte you will see they are too young to be her parents. I looked on my family tree and found Madeline as the sister of Antoine Fisher Poissant whose father was Louis Poissant and mother Josette Liessa. The reason for the name change from Poissant to Fisher is that Poissant was a french name so when the English came to this area Sault Ste Marie the family name was changed to Fisher. Apparently Poissant means something like Fisher in French. That is the story that has been passed down through my family. Are you a relative or Madeline? Those are great pictures. If you want to email me I am Are we relatives?

Woodworth, Wallace and Florence

Hi Jerry,

I have attached a photo to the Woodworth page. Their marker is worn and not easy to read. Are you satisfied with the photo or would you like for me to chalk the letters and dates to make them more legible?

They had a total of 12 Children of which 5 did not reach adult hood. I don't have all of their death dates, the Pratt's are an elusive bunch. LOL. Many migrated over to Detroit and it has been hard tracing once they get over there. I am updating the children now and their families as well. Thank you so much for responding so quickly. If there is anything I can do to help you with this branch, just give me a shout. Again, thank you and blessings. Ellie
