Hi Amy, Margaret's stepmother Ester Downen Edwards was a first cousin fourth removed of mine. We might actually be related in some way because I am related to a lot of Edwards in southern Illinois. In any event, I transferred her memorial to you.

Anything is possible. Here is an address that may clear things up for you (or make them even more confusing!) Lots of info on Alabama Bonhams.

Walter Bonham's father was William Smith Bonham. William's father was James B. Bonham and his mother was Margaret Ann Catherine Young. Sorry he's not who you're looking for.

|Louisiana Cat||E. H.'s brothers|
Hi Amy & Sara,
Romulus Calhoun and Euclid Horace were the older brothers of my great-grandfather, Ethelbert Wellington Bonham, known as E.W. Romulus moved to Texas after the war because of the tension in a divided Tennessee. I have corresponded with one of his descendents living in Texas who has correspondence between Romulus and E.W. My great grandfather was also a railroad man, as were many men in the Tennessee Bonham line. I have a photo of E.W., an engineer, taken beside his engine after his last run at his retirement. William and Mary Scarborough Bonham were their parents. William's parents were Martin Luther and Isabella Calhoun Bonham. After Isabella died in Virginia, M.L. was the Bonham in our line who first moved to TN. His parents were Benjamin and Pheobe Oney Bonham. Benjamin is traditionally believed to have been a preacher who ministered to colonial soldiers during the American Revolution. They lived in the vicinity of Blount County, VA. I noticed the post re: the Lathrop (Lathrap) family. Bonhams in our line are descended from the preacher Lathrop and Hannah House, as well as Samuel Fuller, who traveled on the Mayflower. There are at least 2 lines proved in our Bonham family back to the Plymoth settlers. I hope you find this info interesting and would love to hear from you.

Thank you, Amy, for leaving flowers on my grandfather's grave. I never knew him, as he died 16 years before I was born. It means a lot to know that our loved ones are so well cared for on this site by people like you. --Sheila Hughes

Yes she is unmarked. Gary and his wife who run the place have documented every marker themselves and I have seen the maps they had made. They do a great job. If it helps Block 1 Lot 174 with John and Mathilda. I don't if you have them in there but Gary says they are together and none have markers.

|With Love, Gen Gal||RE: Descendant of John Lothrop|
Glad to hear from you. I see you came across Lydia Beadle's memorial. I found her transcription while creating memorials of Goodrich ancestors in same cemetery and the transcription haunted me and I wanted to find out more.
I should have known there was a connection because of the name Lothrop.
John Lothrop (Lathrop) and Hannah House are my 10th ggrandparents.
Samuel Lathrop & Elizabeth Scudder my 9th
Nathaniel Royce and Sarah Lathrop my 8th
Sarah is where the Lathrop name comes in my tree.
I was just talking to someone about John recently.
She has an ancestor, Henry Cobb, who was a part of John's congregation and is buried in the Lathrop cemetery. It was a small world back then.
Best Wishes, Lillie (Gen♥Gal)
