RE: Slay Connection ?
Hi, Gayle-

Yes. I'm related to the Slays and Sumralls in the County Line Cemetery. Alexander Slay is my 3rd great grand uncle. Thomas L. Sumrall is also a 3rd great grand uncle; his sister, Mary Sumrall, was married to my 3rd great grandfather David Slay (1788-ca 1867).

David and Mary Sumrall Slay are buried in unmarked graves in the Slay Family Cemetery in NW Hinds Co. Here's a link: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&CRid=2400248&CScn=slay&CScntry=4&CSst=27&CScnty=1536&

If you're related to the Slays in Co. Line Cemetery then you're related to me.

My e-mail: douric@netdoor.com

Would love to hear from you,

Doug

Next time I am at the cemetery I will take a picture of the plot so you can see where it is. Greenlawn is really a very nice cemetery, extremely well kept and very respectful.

James Coston
john hennington,Blanco Cem.
I walked the cemetery yesterday evening and this morning, unable to locate his tombstone. I also checked with the library, he is not on the registry but that means -nothing- as my aunt was buried there in 1995 and neither is she.
Respectfully, James Coston

I trust that it's ok with you that I just transferred Henry Didlake's page to you. When I saw your biographical info in the flower, transferring him seemed appropriate.
