|Juanice Hess||RE: Douglas Garrison|
You are certainly welcome. I am glad I was able to find him for you. I realize there has to be a story behind each and every person in these mass graves. His is just one of the very few that already has a memorial. Is there any chance he was a veteran??

I have found the final resting place of Douglas Garrison. I sent an edit for the location in the cemetery which includes the GPS. I also posted a photo of the stone. I hope this helps.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

|girl clifford||27182700 Ellen Julia Williman Mcgrath|
I'm wondering if this woman was the first wife of your relative...William John Mcgrath #35244341. If you look at Ellen's tombstone, it appears that she was married to William J Magrath.
I wonder if you could shed some light on this?

Thanks for all your hard work keeping all these cousins straight! Was wondering if you know if this William John McGrath as the husband of Ellen Julia Williman before he married your relative? Please see Findagrave ##27182700 to see his name on Ellen's tombstone. Maybe if you're local, you could check to make sure that I'm reading his name correctly.
Thanks for any assistance you can offer.

Yvonne, I can't thank you enough for the Santos grave photos in Holy Cross Cemetery on James Island. I even discovered one family member I had not known about. What a service volunteers like you do for people like me trying to fill in the gaps and keeping the family connected through the generations. Thank you again.

I know of him...having travelled around the US in 2009 I happened upon Dengates in Charleston (lovely lovely place but sooo hot!). I had dinner in there then spent the afternoon in the local library trying to find out what I could about the family. Are you still in contact with anyone in the family? Thanks, Nathan

Hello Yvonne. Thank you for entering my late husband's obituary on Find A Grave. I have done some of this myself, but it did not dawn on me to create a record for my husband. Guess that is not unusual.
I would like to request his record be transferred to me please. My Find A Grave number is 47362452 Dani Waters. My husband's record number is 30322747.

Sorry about that, that is a mistake. I worked as a cleaner upper for Julius and Glenn while in school. Their father was a frequent visitor to the South River area where I lived and I knew him also. They to me were a very nice famioly.

This gentleman is also my great grandfather. I am so excited to begin a search of my ancestors and this is first I have located. My mother, Helen Ann McGrath had a marriage notice of Mary E. Kanapaux and Captain William J. McGrath.
My grandparents are Agnes M. Kulinski McGrath and George Semmes McGrath.

You probably didn't realize it, but we're not suppose to post a cemetery photo to a memorial. Cemetery photos are posted to the cemetery page, otherwise you're taking up one of the five photos per memorial.

I would like to thank you for the work you have done in compiling and listing these memorials. My great-grandfather was George Semmes McGrath, son of Mary Elizabeth Kanapaux McGrath.
