James and his family are cited in "The Allen Family" by Helen Burehard, published by the Lawrence County Historical & Genealogical Society.

I am descended from James Allen.

William Malone.
Her child: Belva Jane Malone b 6 Dec 1884
lived w/Nancy R. Masters age 69 in Bogard Twp Daviess as her "servant".
William Malone 1860-1910 was a widower in 1900 living alone in Madison Twp Daviess Co IN
He is also buried Friendship Cemetery.
