|sandra J kelley||Mar Cynthia Viola Beene Dennis name dispute|
I just wanted you to know that I have submitted a change for Mary Cynthia "Violet" Beene Dennis.
There is no evidence that she was ever called May Cynthia. In every documentation, she is either called Viola or Viola M. Family search added those other names without any explanation. (I find they have often made errors.)
Originally the dates for Viola on family search were incorrect. I traced those dates to a Viola Beene born in Kentucky, but she was black. THe dates on Find a Grave and Family Search are now correct. I have corrected the name.
Any question, you can contact me.

Anita - Thanks for your comment. Elijah Pate is my GG Grand on my mother's side. He is buried in Pleasant Grove cemetery outside of Elgin, TX. I've visited the cemetery several times. Hope this helps. Again, thanks for contacting me. Dwayne

Thank you for the link to my g-grandparents, John Horn and Eliza Jane Allen Armistead. I didnít realize I was giving you a duplicate link to her husband, Charles Joseph Shaughnessy! I apologize for that.
Emmieís full maiden name is Emily Sandiford Armistead. Are we Cousins?

Hi Anita - I entered Lela's maiden name and linked her to her husband. Also linked Dessie Mae to parents. Of course I can't link Era P to parents as you are manager of his nemorial.
My mother in law was a Doss (Chloe Doss Cooley buried at the Unity Cemetery in Crossett)
Good luck with your search

|Brenda Pulley||Pate Family|
Anita, My brother-in-law is a Pate. Charlie and Ollie are his grandparents. Right now, his father, Marshall Pate, is in ill health. He plans to be buried beside one of his brothers in the Center Grove Cemetery. They've already got a plot assigned to him when his time on Earth is finished. Do any of the Pates buried there have markers on their graves. If they do, I would appreciate it so much if you could post the pictures of their markers on their memorials. My sister and brother-in-law aren't "into" computers, so every so often I print off the latest information I have on their family histories and send it via snail mail to them. I know how much it would mean to them to have the cemetery pictures. Thank you for being a Find A Grave volunteer.

I keep looking at her and now am thinking the reason I cant find a texas death index for her is because she remarried and I think she married a Brown. Do you happen to know if that would be the case?

|Robert Fowler||Mary Jo Webb|
Mrs Brown, I would like to see if the photo you took of the headstone for Mary Jo Webb, Center Ridge Cemetery, Bowie County Texas, can be used for the site dedicated to the New London School Disaster. The website is http://www.newlondonschool.org/index.html
The site for the cemeteries of the victims of that tragedy is http://www.newlondonschool.org/Cemeteries.htm
I asked them to place Center Ridge Cemetery on that site on Friday, 2/19/10 and they have done so. They can put a photo on the site as well and I think that yours could be used. If you would like to contact them regarding it, try this link http://www.newlondonschool.org/ContactUs.htm
If you would rather I did it, I have no problem with it but would need your permission to use the photo. I would like permission to use the photo on my ancestry tree and I hope you will consider granting me the permission to do so. Thank you.

I will also transfer her husband to you if you want. Just let me know. I enjoy transfering memorials over to family members! It is so much nicer when bio information can be added to these memorials.
