James Longstreth
Charles P. Longstreth, Fairfield Cemetery, Greene Co, OH
The Charles P. Longstreth in the Fairfield Cemetery in Greene Co, OH that you presumably manage, and that has become linked to Bartholomew Longstreth and Lydia Peterson in the same cemetery, is not the same Charles Longstreth that was the son of Bartholomew Longstreth and Lydia Peterson. I have added an entry for the proper Charles Longstreth and linked that person to his parents. It now only remains for you to remove the link that connects Charles P. Longstreth from the couple that are not his parents. I have Charles Longstreth's Ohio Death certificate to document his burial cemetery, the names of his parents, and his dates of birth and death.
The parents of Charles P. Longstreth are Samuel Longstreth and Nancy Fuller. I am not aware of anyone who knows where they are buried.
Thank you in advance for your attention and help in resolving this discrepency.
Regards, Jim Longstreth

Dear Cheryl:

Mabel (Radford) Lewis is my great-aunt, and my 92 year old father's aunt. She was my grandfather, Charles Radford's sister. Her maiden name was Radford, NOT Elethorph. Would sincerely appreciate it, if you make this correction.

Sincerely,
Dianna S. Radford

Hi Cheryl,
I saw that you posted pics for Stewart Cemetery, Bowersville. Do you happen to know if records exist for this cemetery and who the contact person would be? (I have a relative buried in Stewart.) Thanks so much!

BATES Family
Hi Cheryl.. It's always a pleasure to meet a previously unknown cousin. I'm trying to get organized and figure out how this all works and then I'll start posting some things. I'd love to share any info,on the BATES family, that I have which might be helpful although I think you may have a bit more than I at this point. I am in constant touch with George Royal Bates Jr. who is 93 years old and also Margaret Joan Cronan (BATES)who is 83 so if you think they could be any help to you in filling in some gaps let me know. Thanks for your reply and if I can be any help I'd be more than happy to send any info that I have here.
Bill

RE: Woodland Cem., Xenia
Cheryl, I worked with 2 local gentleman to photograph the remaining sections of Woodland that had not been previously photographed or recorded. They did much more work than I did I (Bernard Green and Bob Messemore). I came to the project a bit late. For the most part, we split work by cemetery sections (physical markers). Later this Spring, I will be adding GPS coordinates which are much more precise than plot information. I use an iPad for this. Similar to the cemetery volume you worked from, the Greene County Chapter of OGS had developed one covering Woodland. This coupled with a physical walk through of the cemetery provided the basis for the F.A.G. entries that were made(with sections). To my knowledge Woodland has not been directly involved.

Again, thanks for all the entries you made for other local cemeteries. They are very valuable and appreciated.

Hook Cemetery Greene Co Ohio
Cheryl, thank you for all of the entries you have made. While reviewing a published book entitled Greene Cou ty Ohio Inscriptions, Vol III, for Hook Cemetery, it seems some of the last nam s of persons buried in Hook Cemetery are listed as Hooke vs. Hook. Others are shown as Hook, however, all of your entries for this cemeterey are just Hook. Could you share the source that you used? I am working on an ancestry tree for this family and want to ensure I have correct names.

Bates Family
Hi Cheryl, I was researching some info on my Grandmother Margaret F. Hyland (Bates) and a picture of her grave marker popped up with your name attached. You also have a lot of info on the Bates family and, judging by your name, I was wondering if you were related to Paula Theroux of Stoneham Ma. who was one of the Bates family famous "Jones Girls". I was talking with George Royal Bates Jr. yesterday but he didn't recognize the name. My mother, Margaret M. Davidson (Hyland), talked about the "Jones Girls often and I recognized the name Theroux from her old phone book. If you could let know I'd love to hear from you. Thanks.

Please remove the link from Agigail Shrack to Daniel McFarland and Avis Reynolds McFarland. Your Abigail is child of Pvt. Daniel McFarland 1764-1821 and Abigail Eddy 1760-1820. Our McFarlands never lived in Pennsylvania where your Abigail was born.

I just added a lot of information on Angeline Hale (1845-1848)& don't know if an of it went thru as it said the web page closed with problems. Let me know, OK. I am attempting to upload Hales from my distant Hale cousin; particularly DOB's. But I have many problems with Find A Grave, can't type messages or print out photos. This has taken over 10 minutes to type. Won't accept keystrokes. What is the problem? Carol C

RE: Hannah Clark
Thank you for the information. I appreciate your work. 23 Sep 1875 is the death date of the John Clark who is buried in Bates County, Missouri ! He had only recently moved, so I believe that it is probably the husband of Hannah. Perhaps someone just added his death date to the Greene County, Ohio record ? -----
