In reference to your comment about your father's grave......... My friend 's father's second marriage (six months before he died) was to another horrible greedy predator. His request was to be buried next to his baby he lost at birth. He, too, was experiencing mental, physical, emotional and social decline as this predator proceeded to gain control of his surroundings, obtain power of attorney, change his will, and sneak him off to another state for a marriage . What took him a lifetime to build was totally redistributed by a local lawyer, to this beast in the last 7 months of his life. We were ready and willing to involve ourselves in the process of never letting another person experience such greed and deception at the hands of such, but the lawyer settled with them out of court, for this round.

They dishonored our victim's lifetime wishes of his only son being sole heir, his burial wishes, and all moral/ethical/Biblical principles of inheritance.

The funeral home's temporary marker still marks his grave, two years later, as she shares his wealth and possessions with her children and sports around in her new car at her new location.

It sickens me today to think of all the cases that go unreported allowing predators such as these to claim new victims unaware. There is a long story of how love can hurt so much, yet the abundance of God's love and mercy live on thru His harvest and His peace that passes all understanding.

John Dawson
France Alverta Warr
You may have forgotten me, but I am Carl Horn Dawson's grandson, John. I remember Granny Warr, whose maiden name was Harris, and my grandfathers 2nd spouse grandma Frances Alverta Warr Trigg Dawson. I have the Warr's researched way back thanks to Grandma Frances' brother John W. Warr. plus some of my research. Fannie Harris would have been Frances' mother.
The links should be added:
Carl Horn Dawson - 2nd spouse(also buried there);
Frances "Fannie" Harris Warr (mother)
John Wilson Warr (father)

I don't have Harry Edward Triggs burial and would love it if you know it.

I just added Aunt Virginia Hawkins Ellington Trigg's name and I may have her death date wrong but loved her so much.

I visited the entire family at Appomattox in the mid 90's and even was in New York City with Grandma Frances A., and great grandma Fannie Harris Warr. I got to know that side so well since I spent the summer's with Grandma Frances and Grandpa Carl.

I don't think we have seen each other since we were kids. You may contact me via email at

Cousin John
