George was my ggrandfather. I have done extensive research on him and his only spouse was Martha Ann Lassiter Carnley. He was never married to Martha Ann Stacey Carnley.

David Weger/Wigger #13910024
Hi Jeremy

I am the 4th Great Granddaughter of David Weger, then son Philip and then Mary Ann Wigger is my 2nd Great Grandmother. I am really interested if you live in the area of Washington County, Missouri? I am interested in learning more about the cemetery on Weger Farm. I am hoping to make it there this summer to look for it. If you are not a family member and would like to transfer this to me, let me know and I will do the request through Find A Grave.

I just want to check with you on your request. the bank has a card for a Jeannette Delarbe, born 1/16/1917 and died 8/16/1918. I would assume this is the same person?

RE: Rachel Staskus #14617303
I had to look up a few things and found that Rachel Oxford Balliet Staskus was Herman Balliet's 2nd wife, her 1st husband. They were married 21 Dec 1940. Still don't know a divorce date. Herman was married 3 times and divorced all 3....not a very good record. Do you happen to know when Rachel and Joseph married?

RE: Rachel Staskus #14617303
No, I am related to Rachel's 1st husband Herman Balliet. He was from Carbon County, PA before moving to Georgia with a couple brothers. They owned Pecan and Worm farms.

I thought you might want to know the info for Rachel as I tried to make a couple changes. She was first married to Herman Meinhard Balliet in Georgia but they divorced and both remarried. Rachel remarried to Joseph Staskus. Rachel's maiden name was Oxford.

Walter Wright - Afton Cemetery, Iowa
Hello, Walter Wright is my maternal grandfather. I noticed that there is no headstone image, so I'm guessing that there just isn't one. I'm planning a trip to Iowa and would love to visit the cemetery. Do you know about where his plot may be. My grandmother, Mildred Wright, and uncle, Harold Wright were buried there as well and their headstones have images. I'm hoping that they may somewhere near Walter. Any insight is greatly appreciated.

RE: Bertha (Bessie) Boronda - Calvary Cemetery, San Jose, CA

I called it - (early) Christmas Miracle on this one. The headstone was almost impossible to find, but I did, totally by accident. There was no numbering scheme I could figure out.

She's buried with Albert J. Zettle. Sorry the photos are dusky - there are shade trees all around.

I'll post the photos shortly.

Bertha (Bessie) Boronda - Calvary Cemetery, San Jose, CA

Just a note that I've looked up the burial location for Bessie Boronda (as she is listed in the cemetery office records) but could not locate the burial location despite searching for ~30 minutes today. I had to give up due to lack of time today.

The burial location is St. Gabriel section, row 21, space 10.

I'll be going back to Calvary tomorrow morning and will continue searching for the burial location then. I'll ask the helpful office staff for a pointer or two first, this time!

My apologies for the delay in this important task for you.

Best regards,
Suzi Coury Ferreira

Thank you for adding pictures of the DAR and VA markers in Stewart Cemetery. The Chowtawhatchee Bay Chapter NSDAR placed these markers in 1990.

Thank You
While my son wasn't one that you had done, I want to thank you for posting the obsolete, tiny little Marler family cemetery. I found it interesting to see all the submissions. I just joined this site and became a volunteer. It is through postings such as yours that I see what I can do to help. Thanks again.

Ugh.... I know I have seen the transfer links on memorials in the past. I looked for the link requesting transfer the other day and couldn't find anything related to that action..not even within the other links. That's why I messaged you. I looked again just now and still don't see it. Can you help me on your end? So sorry to create a problem for you! dianne 46963125

Hi Jeremy,

James Bartlett Cobb was my great grandfather. If you will, please sir, transfer the administration of his find a grave account as well as that of his wife (Annie E. Cobb) to me. Question for you. If you transfer his account to me, can I then add my grandfather to their list of children? His name was Walter M. Cobb, Sr. Thanks, Drew.

Thank you, Jeremy! I figured there was a chance you could be a vet...if you live in this area. Glad you served, too! I think one stint is good for everyone, to get an idea of what it's all about!! :)
Take care, and thanks again!
