John D spence
Dear Donna,
I am trying to do some research on John D. Spence and I wondered if you have any original documentation as to his birth, marriage or death. I can find information but no documetation and I really need the documentation.
I would so appreciate any help that you can offer.
Thank you,

RE: deleware cemetery lansing ks
Hi Donna!

Okay. I wasn't able to find anything on him in Leavenworth. I will continue to look. I did a search on ancestry and an entry seems to fit the bill. The name is James Joseph McDonald Martin, 1803-1863. It says he died in Newton County, Missouri. It lists Frances Ann Burruss as his wife and his parents as James Martin Sr, and Mary Dixon.

I hope that might be of some help. I will continue to look as I did a general search on find a grave with different birth and death years in KS and MO and didn't have luck. As I said I will keep looking.

Best Regards
Shannon

Hi! Do you know his wife's name by chance? Maybe his parent's names? I think I may have found a match but I would like to confirm its the same James Martin?

Hi! I can see what I can find but if it is Delaware Cemetery its not an active cemetery and not maintained well. Do you have any other dates on him or what state he was born in?

Hi Donna!

Yes. Delaware Cemetery is within sight of the maximum and minimum security prisons. The cemetery is on a hill and actually almost directly across from the minimum security prison, which used to be a school around the time he was buried.

Were you wanting to verify your information or did you have a question?
Sorry if that sounded rude. I wasn't sure what you asking in your message.

Best Regards

RE: baynham cemetery
It is on private land. We had to call the owner and he let us in and guided us back to the cemetery that he has restored. It was in a cow pasture when he bought the land. He had the toppled markers all reassembled.
