Andersons moved from Steven Cemetery to Rockdale
Any ideas or theories on why several Andersons were moved from Steven Cemetery to Rockdale cemetery in Missouri? When and why? From photos, Rockdale doesn't appear to be much of a going concern... I'm looking for some obscure Andersons who would have died early to mid-1800s.

Magee Cemetery & Ferrels

FYI - although not specifically requested, I added a photo of Eliza Seybold Ferrel (#79606956 - ); I took photos of every monument in the cemetery and was unable to identify Milton or Nancy's or even determine whether they might exist.

There are a couple of stones I'm working to make determinations on but otherwise it's not obvious these will be located.

Melvina McGuire Looney
Hi Marge,

Thank you for recording this grave. I am a great granddaughter of Melvina and haven't been able to locate her or John Allen (her first husband, with whom she had children). Do you know if she has a grave marker at Mt. Horeb? If she does, is it under Allen (her first married name), or Looney? Thanks. Julie

Hi Marge - Thanks for the transfer. Did find her first husband. Now to see if I can find the second one plus a child. Also, thanks for the tip about the state hospital. Will take a look at that in Topeka. Bill.

Father to Spouse
I believe that Leanard Hall Oneal is Christina's Husband instead of "second" father as listed. Her mother and father are correct.

Thank you :)

Thomas Landrum - I believe this to be John Thomas Landrum husband of Edith Ann Goans Landrum. She is shown as a widow in 1910 living in Morgan County, MO. They are both shown on the 1900 census as follows:

Name Age
Thomas Landrum 42
Edith A Landrum 35
William Landrum 16
Ethel Landrum 14
Seldom Landrum 10
Laura Landrum 9
Edna Landrum 4
Bertha Landrum 1

Can you shed any light on this record. The William Landrum age 16 married Mattie Scoby and Scobys are in the Mose Clark Cemetery as well as Spencers who are also mixed in with this family.

Thank you for any help you can give me.

RE: mary Milstead
That happened to my g-grandmother. The weather day of her funeral was awful back in 1945. Instead of going to listed cemetery where her husband was buried, they opted to put her in a closer cemetery and she never got moved due to expense.
So I can see what you are talking about. Thanks for taking the time to try & get things right.

Anthony Bowen Boggs
I found a marriage license on for a Hamilton Boggs and Luticia Brown in Gallia Co., OH.
The reason I am interested is I suspect Lutica Boggs of the 1850 Lawrence Co., OH census to be the mother of Hannah who married Jesse Lee Eastwood.
While one record gives Hannah's last name was Crane we find Jesse and Hannah Eastwood living next to Luticia Boggs in 1850 Lawrence Co., OH.
Then in the 1860 Catlettsburg, Boyd Co., KY census we find Letitia/Luticia Boggs living in their household.
Any thoughts?
