|Pam R.||Hugh Younger|
Thanks, Lynn, for your insite into Hugh. I modified his memorial. FYI, the letter, written by Jennie, I received from a man from Prairie City that I met at a funeral, who has done a lot of research about Camp Watson:)

|Jonette Lee||Robert Young|
I am a descendent of Robert Young. He is my GG Grandfather. His daughter, Emily Clara Young, is my great grandmother. I would be interested in knowing more about this family. I do know from Emily's death certificate that he was born in Missouri, Emily was born in Portersville, Calif. I don't know anything about his wife. Any information would be appreciated.

|K Wink-Torney||Baltzell Family|
Saw your name on the memorial page for Dr. John Frederick Baltzell. My interest was peaked when I read the info on Dr. Baltzell & saw that his grand mother was Eva Catherine Wintz Baltzell (even more so when I discovered that Clarissa Baltzell married a Bixler). Sometime ago I discovered the Will (dated 1781) of "George Wintz" of Frederick Co. Maryland. My 3rd great-grandfather was "George Wink" of Carroll Co. Md. That began my continuing search for a connection, if any, including research of the Wintz/Schley families of Frederick County. My Bixler interest lies in making a connection, if possible, as Laura Virginia Bixler married Joseph Henry Wink, Jr. nephew of George Wink of Carroll Co.
Emailing in the hope that you can suggest a new avenue to pursue my research. Thank you.

|Tanya Reed Bush~88||Hello Cousin!!!|
I hope the holiday was wonderful and y'all are keeping warm on your side. Its been okay around here I think. It was so wonderful of you to drop a line and say hello. Thank you very much. <3
Well, everyone from our line has matched to the Younger's from Joshua Logan and Charles Lee as well as Alexander's line too. I guess that puts us in almost all the groups. Who picked the group names anyway? We even have a fun family motto ; "Tha mi rubair tha thu glaodh" It is Scottish Gaelic for, "We are rubber, you are glue" HAHA!! too funny :) Sometimes everyone just needs to have fun and stick to facts and remember to preserve the integrity of all our family lines. We should be very proud of our roots, keep adding branches and continue to grow. I think Littleton was quite amazing. I've enjoyed researching him.
We have Fristoe's and Marshall's in the family DNA as well. To add, we got quite a bit of DNA showing from Elizabeth Lee plus the Sullivan's. That was fun to see so many of the matches our elders have been telling us about. I'm working a bit on inputting my "Reed" and "Hart" family line. As much as possible anyway, but they are not all wacky like some of the other family data that needs to be sorted out. This is why I will be in Arkansas and Missouri a lot this year. Let me know if you need anything from there for your files.
Fun fact I recently found out. My 3rd cousin Tessie Viola Goodall (no longer with us) was your lunch lady at Hill. Crazy right? The world just got a bit smaller once again.
Let me know if I can help with anything from my end and thank you again for thinking of us over here.
Cousin Tanya <3

Rosamund Yound was 2nd great grandmother. We haven't located her buriel. Didn't get a chance to go to Riggs Cemetery. My next step is to order her death certificate. I am thinking she has to be there.
Not much information on Henry's family. No family information. What I found not sure. Phila I tracked by her marriage certificate. Married Henry Dec 11, 1894 Phila was 19 believe her brother was Isaac Alexander Coker married Mary Rose Donahoe granddaughter of Samuel and Rosamund and dau of Martha Gage. Hope that's right should have in front of me. Never found burial for Phila or Henry. Census show them living in Rosalia with Richard and James. Never found anything on James.
I am not in Ancestry at this time.

Thanks so much for your message in regards to Lucy G. Young and Robert Young. Lucy was my 3rd great-grandmother on maternal side and finding information on her was a struggle. I'm glad the information has been of use to you. I have to agree with you in regards to this family being one of the most interesting you have worked on! I feel the same exact way!

I will email your personal account and fill you in on all the latest discoveries. The last month has been truly crazy with all the DNA results and poorly transcribed information to sort through. I think we have a good idea of the family groups and who is who in our very large family. I must say it has taken some outside help of DNA specialists and civil war historians as well as some government agencies to get this information somewhat correct. I did not want to start on your line of family until we had spoke and I have a good idea who's who through a REAL family member for the line , if you know what I'm saying. I email you :)

I really just wanted to let you and know that I have come across a document with regard to Elizabeth (Lee)Younger, wife of Charles Lee Younger and her parentage. It has been recorded and this seems to be a viable document. Feel free to contact me or have your husband contact me with regard to this document and I will pass it along for you both to go over. I am not as knowledgeable on this earlier line of our Younger's, but I will also have some fellow historian look into it as well. I have reached out to the originator of the document where it is filed and I am just waiting to hear back from their administrations department.
With kind regards,

I hope that helped. I am in Oregon City, Oregon now and have been in the Portland area since I was 8 years because my dad had an eye put out and we had to move here for a doctor that was trained enough to do the surgery he required. My parents decided to stay after.
I should research the Duncan family further because I have several other family lines married to a Duncan and they may all come together somewhere in the past. On my dad's side I have Hogg, West and Kinder. On my mother's side I have Hensley, Jones and Whisenhunt that have the name Duncan as one of their Spouses.

There is a site on the Find A Grave for I believe his wife I believe and his name is on the same stone. You may know this is a different family member since they are your family.

Death: Apr. 20, 2000
Married Oran J Duncan June 26, 1929 at Chehalis, Lewis County, WA

Find A Grave Memorial# 118765619
I don't have these two in my files because my family are from the West family and I have not researched the Duncan family yet.
Does your picture of the site give dates?
This one shows 1898-1977
From what I have been able to put together from the find a grave sites his dad was Bert S. Duncan and his mother was Sarah Agnes Mahon. I hope that is of a little help. Please let me know if it is the right person or not. If it is wrong I may be able to help you run it down.

I'm the one that should be thanking you. You have been at this much longer than myself. I live out here in Yamhill County close to where Sydney and George are buried and my husbands family is from Benton County as far back as 1870. I know that Nero was out there with his family around that time. Kind of cool that we are both born and raised Oregonians. I will send you a private message with all my information and we can swap family information after the holidays.
So nice to hear from you and I wish you and yours a very Marry Christmas!!!!

Hi there. I see you are a descendent of James McMahan. I was wondering what your line from him is? I would like to see if I have you in my family tree for him. James is my 3rd great grand uncle. My paternal grandmother was Nellie Mae [McMahan] Leggett so that is where my connection comes in with James.

|Ghost Town Gal||The Oregon Trail|
Thank You for your note. Sounds like you had fun at the end of the trail! At one point I thought it would be great to bike the Oregon Trail – but I think hubby and I are too old – and we still have a way to go before we retire. Regarding “Who Do You Think You Are” - I hadn’t seen the episode with Kelsey Grammer – but did so on your recommendation. I wasn’t disappointed – it brought tears to my eyes. My 3rd Great Grandfather, John B. Morris 1807-1852, died along the trail of cholera. Easter Blessings to You and your family.
