Catherine Schall 1710-1772
Hi Judie,
I am also a 6th ggdau of Catherine and her husband Nicholas Schall (170901772). I am going to Germany in May 2017 and am hoping to find the town where Nicholas and Catherine were born. Is there anyone in our extended family who has traced this couple before they arrived in Pennsylvania in 1752?

You're very welcome. I was chased out in a hurry, because of incoming storms but if you need an exact reading, if you let me know, next time I will go, I will try to decipher it!

Calkins Family
Hi, my name is Karen Calkins Funk. My Dad was Alva Lewis Calkins and my Mom was Hazel Doris (Thompson) Calkins. I was wondering if you have some familial relationship to the Calkins family. I believe I have you to thank for putting their headstone photos and obits on Find A Grave. Any further info you can give me would be appreciated.

Re: Rev. Alva Calkins parents
Dear Judie,

I've been working in the Butman Find A Grave Cemetery list of Interments & now have something for you! On Rev. Alva Calkins.

Could you goto his Rev. Alva Calkins memorial I.D. # 88132087 and either go into his father memorial Frank Ellis Calkins 83512612 or his mother Christina Calkins 83513073 and get the parents linked up? Thank You!

Re: Rev. Alva & Hazel Calkins

I finally, understand... The line of Calkins following down into Gladwin County, Michigan area. Rev. Alva & Hazel (Thompson) Calkins, buried out in Butman Twp. Cemetery. Thought, you would be the best one to take over these memorials. I've attached Alva father, though, couldn't find a memorial for his mother. Christina. Hope you enjoy these... Tom

RE: Re: Calkins
Judie, no-problem at all. Was thinking!!! I had zeroed in on Dorr & Minnie Calkins burial site. Was thinking when warm weather comes back. Maybe could take a drive to Warren Cemetery & take some Headstones... Now looks like everything is complete except to Link up their individual Memorials. Did however manage add more Calkins into Mary (Briggs) Moeller & My LMCB tree straight down in Saginaw & Midland, Michigan area. If (we) can get everything Linked. Maybe invite Cousin Jack & he can do some FINDAGRAVE Memorials as well. Francis McKimmy is already programmed etc. Thanks was just trying to help out some with the Calkins material on here.

Re: Calkins
Hello! Judie,

Note: Been adding more Calkins to the Big Tree {LMCB the big tree} & noticed at the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library Dorr E. & Minnie (Arnold) Calkins appear on the 1897 Plat Map & seems most likely buried in the Warren Twp Cemetery in Coleman, Michigan. So! I just created two new Calkins Memorials for you & transferred them over to you!!! If you want to finished the rest of: Clark Lyman Calkins family group. Please be my guest... Enjoy the Holiday's & God Bless.
