The site is run by Veterans Affairs, not by me. I have a distant connection to his wife.

RE: James Barry
Great uncles are outside Find a Grave guidelines for transfer. Virtual cemeteries are a great way to gather your family members. I will add hyperlinks to his brothers if they are in known burial locations. LG

RE: James Barry
I see the issue now. I won't link to burial unknown. If you resolve their burial location, you can resubmit the link; however, at this point, I will again decline it. Regards, LG

RE: James Barry
I'll assume the memorial to which you are referring is #162567541. If not, you'll have to give me a memorial number, because I have 27 James Barrys, several of which are at Calvary.

If this is the memorial in question and the link denied was to his wife Rose (which it is from the context of your message), there is already a link to a Rose Barry, which is likely why it was declined. If not and he was married to two different Rose Barrys, you can resubmit the link request.

Hope that helps - I get a lot of corrections every day and it simply could have been a mistake on my part. LG

Nicholas Wasicsko
Thanks for contacting me about Mr.Wasicsko. I always thought he should have been in the "famous" category and I actually tried to place him there when I started the memorial, but was denied. Now that the mini-series came out, they should oblige.

Catherine Drennan
I located Catherine and Hannah Ann Drennan's graves in the Old St Patricks church yard on 11th street in Verplanck adjoining the new church building.
I will enter an Old St Patricks cemetery listing on FindaGrave, unless there is one already.

Patrick Carney
We were able to find Patrick's grave marker thanks to some help from a cemetery employee named Mr. Ward. I know it has been a couple of years since you requested the picture. Wish we could have found him sooner.

So Little Time

Your pictures are beautiful! Thank you for sharing, this is such a beautiful place. I noticed you posted a Capra too. My grandfather from Gangi was Salvatore Capra born Aug 5, 1878. He is buried in Holy Cross Cemetery in Yeadon, PA. Wouldn't it be something if this woman was a relative? My grandfather had a brother named Sam who left Gangi & settled in Kansas City, MO. They are the only 2 I know of who came to America from this side.

If your friend with the Capra relative has anything to share, please let me know. That surname is like Smith & Jones here in the US.

I still have yet to dig out those pictures. Just so busy with work.

You are very welcome. I am sorry for the loss of your friend. That had to be tough at such a young age. I'm glad you have his memorial.

Mount Olivet Cemetery
I saw your post/s for Mt. Olivet Cemetery...hoping you could help me. I have an obit written years ago saying that a person was buried at Shaarei Tefilah cemetery in Whitesboro. I now find that this is just a section in a cemetery in Whitesboro. Could this be a section of Mt. Olivet?? I would love to post this person on Find A Grave but I need to know more about Shaarei Tefilah. Can you help?
