|Ruth Smith||RE: Emma Croy|
Thank you so much for helping us get this straightened out - you are correct the death certificate does state she was buried at the city cemetery. That is understandable that most people would think it was listed under Cape Girardeau - instead of Fairmount or Lorimier. Now I have the task of contacting everyone else who did the same. But hey they call me the "bull dog" because once I latch onto something, I won't let go. LOL
The memorial page for Emma Croy was already there #104139780 at Fairmount. I forgot to tell you that earlier. Thanks again. Ruth

Hello - I have a question for you. We have a problem here in Cape Girardeau with some cemeteries. You have listed Emma Croy #104239780 at Cape Girardeau City Cemetery. B Sept 20, 1909 and D Nov. 5, 1911. I also listed her at Fairmount Cemetery #114430438 but there was no stone. Dates: B: Sept 20, 1909 D:Nov. 5, 1911. She was on the official list for Fairmount.
The question is why did you list her at the Cape Girardeau City Cemetery - there really is no cemetery by that name and the office here said there are 3 cemeteries known as "city cemeteries" Fairmount, Old Lorimier and New Lorimier.
Did you mean to put her at Cape County memorial? And if so why? Technically you made her memorial page in January and I made mine in July so yours should come first. Would you change the cemetery and I will delete mine. Or What do you think we should do? Isn't this confusing? There are 53 people listed at this "Cape Girardeau City Cemetery"and no place exists. Thanks for your help. Ruth

You have been absolutely so sweet, I really hate to ask this, but could you please remove your headstone photo so we may be able to add more family type photos for him. Again I am so sorry. Thank you so much for understanding.

Sorry to be so long getting back to you--I expect you are right and I've got her in the wrong place. Just haven't had time to check back and see why I put her there in the first place. Still working on it.

I am researching a Doyle family in Suffield, CT and I'm trying to figure out if there is a relation to another family in the same cemetery. Are you by chance related to the Doyles or is it just a picture you posted while you were visiting? (D[ennis] H Doyle, wife Catherine M, son Herbert)
Crossing my fingers!
Thank you for your time!

Constance Lindberg is my great aunt and I added my own listing in 2013, it was the first time I added names so I did not check to see if there were other listings. My listing is 112692019.
Could you please transfer your listing to me so I can combine the two? I will give you credit for the photo.
Thank you, Madison15

Eliakin (aka Eliakim) Gaylord is my 5th great grandfather. I just sent you an email with sources for suggested edits to Eliakin's memorial page. I worried it might go directly to your Spam box, so wanted to let you know. I also wondered if you could put a note in his bio reading "aka Eliakim Gaylord" so it could be found with online searches. The spelling goes back and forth in the records and even on the two gravestones.
Thanks for your help, and please let me know if you need more verification. I'm always searching for more documentation on my ancestors!

Thanks for the heads-up about the duplication. I've deleted the memorial. Sorry it took so long; your message got sent to spam instead of my inbox.

Thank you SO much Jerri for the transfer! I was at Palisado yesterday and took photos of every Mack marker/monument I could find, I wasn't able to find ggmother Sarah (Maw) Mack, who was sadly institutionalized for many years in Middletown but I am told is buried Palisado. I can't wait to get started on his memorial. Jim

Thank you very much for the correction. I do not remember if Thomas Brackett was on the memorial when it was transferred to me or if someone sent it to me. I just had not caught it. Mrs. Lance is my g-g-grandmother. Her daughter Minnie was my
great-grandmother. Grandma Minnie was a great influence on my life & my sister's. If you find her parents please let me know. Thank you for all your WORK. Mazie Davenport Gray
