RE: Maud Waters - 175501709
Hi again Glenn, good to hear from you. You are welcome for the photos. There are names on the other side of the monument that I haven't gotten to yet. I took a lot of pics yesterday.
The ones on the other side are real hard to read because of the shadow and the color of the stone.
Names are Clara Burton Waters, George A. Waters, and the other Waters name is hard to make out--I have to work on that one. It looks like that one died Dec. 1960.

RE: Dr. Andrew Lawson Baxter
A puzzle indeed! I am happy with both memorials, such awesome pics and data. The bench as marker for Dr. Andrew Lawson Baxter is such a lovely addition to the cemetery here. In time, maybe a family member will help us out with the details. Special Thanks for helping me. char b.

This is not one of my cemeteries. Check the memorial for Andrew Offutt and see if the creator is the one that you need to contact. They could use a much better description if you kindly provide the info.

2 more of my creations:
Magruder Family Cemetery-Laytonsville
Magruder Family Cemetery-Grubby Thicket, Rockville.

I will check my list and see what others are in
your territory. Please don't hesitate to point out any errors that I might have made.

Your help is always appreciated.

Family at Cedar Hill
Hello Glenn. Do you make memorial transfers? I have some family buried at Cedar Hill cemetery in PG County MD that you have created memorials for and I would like to manage them. Thanks for your consideration.

RE: Magruder Family Cemetery -
Thanks for the update, Glenn. The numbered location is new to me as I have not used it before. The page will not accept the typed number. How do I get the actually add the map that you sent the link for?

Are there any gravestones at all? Is it private property? I usually hesitate to add a street address if it is private.

Note the photo request on the page. The photographer mentioned that it is on Smithwick Lane, in PG Co. which is a completely different Magruder Family Cemetery (also one of mine)

Your help is appreciated,

RE: Awkard Family Cemetery

It sounds fine, but without going to the area, I cannot be sure. Do you plan to take photos?
If you wish for me to update the cemetery page, just send a description and I will make an update.

Were there any other cemeteries on the site that you have not already visited?

RE: Awkard Family Cemetery
Thank you for contacting me, Glenn. I knew that the information was from online so a quick search today revealed another site that I had not even seen. Check out It has information for early Black churches. If you scroll down to #10 on the left of the page, it gives information about Rev. Awkard. If you scroll down further, there is a map that gives the general location on Rt 109 & 28.

It appears that the site might have other cemeteries that are not on Findagrave? If you locate the Awkard Cemetery and take any photos, please let me know if you add them to this site so that I might view them.

You are doing an amazing job!

RE: George Washington Memorial Park?
Hello Glenn: I changed my uncle Harry Dann's Cemetery to Prince George Co. Sorry for the confusion! My family lived in Montgomery and I was born in Takoma Park, so hence the confusion! Thanks for changing the others, as I see they are right now! Patricia

RE: Richard Waters Gravesite

The gravesite is located off Hadley Farms Dr., in Gaithersburg, specifically the 2nd Hadley Farms intersection off MD. 124 North, a little more than a mile past Airpark Road. The gravesite is located almost directly across Hadley Farms from the intersection with Mattingly Terrace. It is located off a wooded footpath, and is not far from right hand side of the entrance to the footpath. It consists of several graves enclosed by a wrought iron fence. Hope this helps. Let me know if you need anything else.

RE: George Washington Memorial Park?
Hello Glenn: George Washington Cemetery is the name now and the address is 9500 Riggs Rd Adelphi, MD 20783 Phone 301-434-4640. I have 5 relatives in this cemetery (Treadwell, Mother's side.). Thanks for all your work on the Monocacy Cemetery. I might have a relative or 2 in it, but no markers? My father (Erwin Moore), was born in Fredrick, Maryland and a lot of his relatives are in Mt Olivet. thanks, Patricia

RE: Richard J. Fulton, Sr.
Hi Glenn,
I am happy to help, but I do not have all of this information. I am still looking to find his parents. I have been searching cemeteries for his parents. Here is what I do know. His full name is Richard James Fulton, Sr. His father was William Dickey "Dick" Fulton (1900-1932). His mother was Mary Elizabeth "Betty" (James) Fulton Richardson (1904-1970). His step-father was Richard "Dick" Richardson (1903-?). He had a sister, Elizabeth Cedella (Fulton) Jones Davis (1921-2014). His younger brother is still living. He married Jane R (Pollock) Fulton. His children are Patricia Fulton, Richard James "Jimmy" Fulton Jr., and Robert Fulton. I believe this is his son (103076145). I hope this is what you are looking for.

Okay doke, Glenn. Do not be surprised if it takes findagrave weeks/months to add the cenotaph designation. I've see it happen in just days, but usually much longer. Take care, Amy

Glad it was helpful, Glenn. What a great job you've done with your cemetery! My 4th-great-grandfather Capt John Bailey Bolton (1800-1883) was from Montgomery County, Maryland. Hope your research continues to go well.

Seeing that one go so long without anyone getting to it was surprising. Then again, Sec 17 is a bear - a misnamed children section is right on the edge of her grave (Ivy Range). The grounds staff will tell you 17 is a challenge for many reasons. But I got her done! Later, Fred
