|Tom Black||Reders in Fulton County|
I've transferred my remaining three Reder memorial to you.
I would be happy to share with you where I've been able to find information but the message might be a little long to post here. Do you have an email address I could use to contact you?

|Tom Black||RE: Transfer|
I'm so glad that I could help you out! I've had others do the same for me so it is always good to be able to pay it forward.
I have three other Reder memorials in Fulton County, Indiana: Ada, 7/30/1881-10/14/1881, daughter of James and Emma, in Fletchers Lake Cemetery; Mary A., 6/19/1828-8/17/1919, wife of William, in Kewanna Cemetery; William, 4.16.1826-9/15/1895, in Kewanna Cemetery.
I believe William was the son of John and Abigail Carrier Reder.
If you would like to have any/all of these memorials transferred to you, I would be happy to do so. Just let me know.

Betty, The cemetery is 'down the road' from where I live and I have taken pictures of many of the gravestones and added them to Find A Grave. In this case, Helen already existed, entered maybe by you??? It says it was created by "Betty." When I added the photo I noticed that the other two were not listed in the cemetery so I added them. They are not related to me. If you provide your number, I would be happy to transfer their management to you.

|Sheryl Reder Kirkwood||Hi Betty|
Can you list Frank (28162523) and Hannah (28162655) Reder as parents on Benjamin's memorial page?
And also Benjamin (28510337) and Kennie (28751633) Reder as parents on Jack W Reder's?

Betty, you are most welcome. The funny thing is that I have begun photographing graves for this website for just a couple months and when I searched the site for old photo requests in my area I found this one. We have recently retired to this area on a permanent basis, but have owned a home here and been here at least 30 times a year for nearly 20 years. Every time we go to the store or ANYWHERE ELSE around here we pass that cemetery. I think you would enjoy this part of the country and encourage you to visit. If there is anything else I can do for you, please let me know. Sharon

|Shelly||RE: Mary Eret -- Elmwood|
You're very welcome Betty ... I'm glad I was finally able to find it. If you ever go to Elmwood ... do NOT rely on the X they put on the map as where you will find the stone LOL ... she put the X on the opposite side of of where I needed to be LOL. That was our 4th trip and we scoured the area she had the X in for the 4th time ... this time my husband was with me so it was a new pair of eyes. Even he couldn't find her. We moved on to the other stones we needed to find. I couldn't stand it ... it was really nagging at me so I asked my hubby if we could try just once more and I wanted to move to the other end of the section because it was the only side we really hadn't checked. BINGO ... ;-) She's smack in the center of one of the baby sections and to be honest, it's a really lonely area as there isn't one flower or plant on any of them but that makes sense as they were all born in the early 40s or earlier so parents are probably gone or unable to visit and sibs wouldn't have known them so why visit. Sad.

I had tried to find Martha Reder's headstone one other time and couldn't. Mays Cemetery has a lot of broken and unreadable headstones and I thought Martha's was one of them. Went today to Mays Cemetery with my husband and brother to locate a different headstone. My brother moved a broken headstone and found Martha's behind it. It was still hard to read but hope you can make out most of it. The first request was made on Aug 3, 2008. Sorry it took me so long to discover Martha.

I went to Maplewood today to get some pictures and I made a check of the cemetery for your request. You may not be aware but maplewood is terrifically enormous.
I will call the office this coming week and fulfill your request.

The south end where???? Near what main street?? I grew up right across the street from 94. My yard was three lots and went right along side the 94 west bound exit ramp on to Calumet Avenue.

Same here ... I grew up in Hammond and subsequently moved to New York but we have aging relatives who still live up north so we moved back to Indiana but this time we're about three hours away so we visit often. When you return ... if it's this year ... be prepared to deal with tons and tons and tons of construction!!! I don't know what part of Hammond but almost all of Calumet from 80/94 down to Hammond High School is under construction!! And, of course, 80/94 has intermittent construction especially around 65 and 80/94 LOL.
Take care Betty and I'll post the photo in a few weeks :-)

My goodness ... I searched and searched the baby section for Mary ... she does have a stone but I just couldn't find it and I ran out of time today. I am going to return to Hammond in a couple weeks and will have a cemetery employee help me locate her stone. Such a sad little section.

Morning Betty. I used to live in Hammond and I have family still there. I am planning a visit to the Region in a few weeks or so and would be willing to pop in to the cemetery and try to get the photo for you.
Just wanted to let you know since your request has been sitting for some time.

You're very welcome for the picture. I also added a picture of the Benjamin and Kennie stone which is right next to Jack.
