|J Wingo||RE: Frances Gilbreath Hays McKracken|
Patti, cemetery records indicate Mrs F.J. McCracken was buried at Blk E, Lot 151, Space 5. I photographed the McCracken headstones that mark adjacent spaces 6, 7, and 8 for location reference, and so the family can see there was no marker for the specific memorial. I will add a caption for clarification. Thanks! -James

|kristinanderson||RE: Susan Witt|
Hi Patti - Thank you so much for helping me with this puzzle and I am so glad you didn't change the memorial. I am working on straightening out a very large, complicated Anderson genealogy document created by my late cousin, Paul K. Anderson. Paul began researching our family long before the internet so he did not have access to all the tools we have now. I found Daniel T. Witt in the 1900 Census so indeed the death dates were not switched! I believe Paul did find letters from a Susan Witt to a Francis Marion Anderson, but I do not know which Susan and which Francis since the families repeated these names over and over. Suffice it to say, I still have a mystery to solve. Thanks again! Kristin Anderson

Patti - You had posted a gravestone photo for Infant Casey, child of P.N. & Edna Casey at Pleasant Gap Cemetery, Cherokee Co., Alabama. That happened to be a duplicate memorial that has now been deleted. I would appreciate if you would post that photo to the original memorial, #13999686. Thank you for your time.

You are very welcome. I took it years ago when back home in New Castle. I'm so glad I found it and finally posted it to Find a Grave. I know you have done a lot of work on the Johnsons/Dovers. Sheri's dad was my mom's youngest brother.

|Eddie Pearcy||Wesley Pearcey|
Thank you so much for what you do. I just found this site and was able to find my grand parents head stones Ada & Wesley Pearcey. Some how over the years our family name got spelled as Pearcy. This was causing me a problem finding them. Do you do any work at the Valley Head cemetery there in Alabama. My mothers parents are buried there Willie & Dellie Campbell but there was never a marker placed. They had a daughter buried there in 1924 Pauline Campbell. She is the the only one that is listed on thier records.

I notice a child's Parker grave in the cemetery - plus some later dates. Are these all in the same area of George Washington & Charity Watkins Parker? This is our step-father's GGGrandfather and GGGrandmother. Am doing some research for his granddaughter.
thank for all you do.

Thank you so very much for posting my great-grandfather Harper's tombstone picture. I am now too old to walk through cemeteries and take all the images desired. The digital camera has changed a lot of things. Years ago film was expensive, so I had only a few pics. Appreciatively, Chester Martin

|Doug Thompson||RE: Thomas Thompson|
Someone sent me some notes on Old Thompson Cemetery.
"Here's my guess of its location on a Google Earth map. For your Orientation note the Mt.
Olive Cemetery in the south east quadrant.
These notes were from Dec 2002,
My best try at deciphering those 11 year old notes:
Bob Landrum N. house
Mary Dir N. & behind clump of trees
info sticks st N to fence row was a road
S side of F. row
In front of Joe Frank Brown's house (I looked up this address then and came up with
150 Tollie Gordon Road which is marked on the map below.)
, I just ran across another, probably better source, that says Thompson Cemetery is located "across the road from Jamie Walker's house (106 Jim Dedmon Road)". That would be up further NW I think, nearer Bells Chapel."
Hope this may help. Some of the directions I do not understand, but perhaps they will make sense to you. I know you would like to find it as well since they are also your relatives.
Thanks so much,

You are a lovely person to take cemetery markers picture and put on Find a Grave so I just found my great Aunt Mollie Batton Buchanan and her husband and did not know here she was buried.
I was born in Waverly, Humphreys Co., TN but my mother left there when I was two. My young school years was spent in Ok City and then to CA for last two years of high school and been here ever since.
Miss my family still there in TN and need to visit them soon again. Been too long and we are getting up in years....I mean really up. ha.
You are a Cemetery Angel and I pray many blessings for you.

Hello, I have been trying to tied down some information on my family tree. I was told that there is an as he said "ancient Smith" cemetery there in cherokee co. I have census record showing that the smith's were in Cherokee co 1850, 1860. I was hunting more information on them. John B smith that married Rebecca Thomas smith is my line. Do you know any thing about these people I was told that john came from a large smith family. Thank you

Pattie, The memorials I had created (buried: unk.) for Rev. Van Archibald and Josephine Rebecca (Tyler ... MY TYLER FAMILY) Bell in 2010, W/BIO.). Wasn't aware where they (incl. their two daus.) were buried until yesterday. Josephine Rebecca Tyler was my G-G-G GPTS., granddaughter, d/o Thomas and Sarah (Shy/Shi) Tyler, Monroe Co., GA and I'm descended from their daughter. I'll send an e-mail to F.A.G. regarding this issue. Thanks!

I would like to try to find your request. If you will call the office and get the section and lot numbers, it will help me to narrow the search. The cemetery is huge and the office wants to charge me for that information. Thanks so much.
Can you verify with them that there is a marker too?
Their number is 404-755-6611

Hey Patti, That is fine. Actually you did what I wanted to do--that is link them together. Thanks for that. If you get this message twice, please excuse it. My email says that it did not go through the first time. I do have a couple of questions for you about Gus. He had a brother, Wiley M. Johnson--do you know when he died and where he is buried? The other question is about his kids by Fannie. Do you know when the following children died and where they are buried---Enos, Clarence, Mary Frances, or Elmer?
If you know any info on this I would appreciate knowing, otheriwise, let's just enjoy having a common ancesttor. Thanks.
