Hi I am trying to get a message to your friend Lee Ann who has been researching the Withers family in Virginia. I came across info that she posted on the Withers family graves at "Locust Grove" in Dinwiddie County in Virginia. I used to own the John Grammer House in Petersburg Va. and did extensive research on the family and would love to share all the info on the family who married into the Withers family. I have been looking for the real descendants of John Grammer and believe that she is one of them..if you would be so kind to forward this to her, I'd be most appreciative. There are many things that I found out about them and have been trying to unravel them for years and find a true descendant.
Thank you if you can get this message to her as she has disabled her message board.

You have added a photo of the tombstone of Arthur Pennington Jr. to the memorial of Arthur Pennington III. I have added the correct photo but thought you might want to remove the incorrect one.

|Paula Griffith||Sarah Jane Whatley Story|
Saw that you could possibly be a descendant of Sarah Jane Whatley Story. Sara Jane is the sister to my 2nd Great Grandfather Byrd Woodward Whatley. B.1852 d. 1933.
Interested in making these connections as asking if you have any other information regarding Sara Jane and Byrd's parents and earlier. I have some of my greataunts bible records that list their Mother as NANCY JANE LOYD (as does Sara Janes death record) but all links on ancestry point to a MARTHA STRONG or NANCY STRONG. Wondering if I am following this line correctly. Thank you for your work in adding this memorial and look forward to hearing from you!

|Heidi Peckens||Higginbotham's in Blount County|
Laura, I saw the photo you added with some information on Melissa Alabama Gentle Higginbotham, wife of P.W. Higginbotham, buried in Remalap, Alabama. In your notes it lists their adopted son, Albert Preston, biological son of Malissa's brother Clint. I am a direct descendant of Albert, and am looking for information to verify his parentage as Clint and ???? Would you have any information on that?

|Diana Rocci||Lucinda Wyatt and Wm Meredith|
Hi Laura, You are listed as the one who maintains Lucinda Wyatt's grave posting. How do we list her as the sister of Rev. William Hoge Meredith? If I recall Lucinda had 15 children.

|Dan||RE: Shentha, Annette, Nolan|
Thanks for the quick reply. Annette and Shenetha were on their way to see us (my family) as we had just returned from 3 years of living in Europe, Dad was in the Army and we were in West Germany for the 3 years. Shenetha was pregnant with her first child, and they might have had to change and go to the way to the hospital as she was due to deliver, we will never know, for the were killed in a head on accident on the way to town, on the road out of Sipsey to Jasper Al, which could have been to see us, which was their original plan.
I have been doing some family research which is how I found Find a Grave, and then their information. Oh, a really big thank you for the work, it was a happy yet sad thing to find their information, but as I was 18 when it happened, and we moved to Illinois right after the funeral, I never knew where they were buried.
I have some info on the Mauldin's, not as much as I would like, I have not researched their side as much as I should, they are on my list of people to get too, so far my tree has about 3,000 folks in it, and I still have a lot to look into.
I would be glad to send you copies of my data, and keep you advise of any from my future searches. My direct email address is dan_perry (at) bellsouth (dot)net.
As to your offer to transfer I would be very happy and honored if you would, I would like to link as many of them as I can.

|HillSeeker||Lula E Argo|
Hi! I'm wondering if you can shed more light on a family connection. Lula E Argo's maiden name was Tyler. Her parents were Daniel B. Tyler and Priscilla Evelyn Peel. Priscilla Evelyn Peel (sometimes spelled Peal) is my Great-Grand Aunt, daughter of Jesse & Mary Peel, of Shelby County, my Gr-Gr-Grandparents and Lula's Grandparents. Do you have any background info on Lula's mother & grandparents, the Peels? Particularly, I do not have a maiden name for Mary, wife of Jesse. I also do not have any other facts about possible siblings of Jesse (b. VA) or Mary (b. NC). I have gathered quite a bit about Priscilla & her siblings, although I am still looking for a death date / death record / burial location for Lacie Peel (b. 1841), who is my Great-Grandmother. Thank you for any help you can give or direction to someone who can provide more assistance. If you prefer, you can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you.

Hi my name is Lacy Davis. You added a memorial for my great grandmother Helen Huchko in Oakland Cemetery. Is there any way you would be willing to let me manage it so I could post some pictures and fix the birth date. I would greatly appreciate it and thank you for adding her to this site.
